Only just got them but was surprised how good the fit was (I’m normally 13-14 depending on brand) and the quality seems very good and the colour is great. It remains to be seen how they hold up down the road but really satisfied and can recommend these boots. Only slight concern would be that while standing I can lightly feel the profile of the treads of the sole through my feet, indicating that the sole is pretty thin - should be room for an extra insole once they’re worn in so not really concerned.

I love the style and fit. I bought them on a 7 day, buy before you pay plan, and as soon as i put them on I was so happy, not too tight, not too loose. I walked around a bit and was happy. But then...the zipper popped open. They were zipped up but just sprung a hole. The zipper was off center and stuck as I tried to zip it back down. I finally got it back to working order but it popped open again. I figured I just got a bad item so I sent them back, but immediately ordered them again because I really liked the fit. Anyhow... My new shoes arrived a couple days later and I was ecstatic, but not for long :(. Yup,,, same problem, well sorta. Once again a faulty zipper! This time it just separated and came off the track after I walked around in them for no more than 10 minutes. I couldn't believe it, I was saddened and dismayed. So, although I loved the boots, they showed me no love. Back they go.

On delivery and for the first few months of almost daily use the boot is comfortable and a perfect pair to your outfit. Unfortunately the low craftsmanship starts to show very quickly as the thin string used to stich the body of the boot together starts to come apart. The toe cap stitching went first and revealed that the boot is very loosely constructed and then the entire side started to come apart revealing that the leather is not actually stitched to the sole but glued down. I got a year and some change out of them which wouldnt be so bad if the price point were around 10-20% lower. I have a pair of Stacey Adams that i bought for about the same price that show 0 of the same wear issues. Verdict: Cheap boot that will work well in a pinch or as a last minute wedding or interview shoe but you are better off spending a little more for better workmanship or a little less for an expected throw away boot.
