Style: Premium Smart
Assembly wasn’t too difficult overall. The main step is attaching the upper part with the console to the treadmill, which is fairly straightforward. The hardest part is getting it out of the box. It’s heavy and awkward. If you don’t have two strong people, I would recommend paying for professional assembly to avoid strain or injury. Once set up, the treadmill is very quiet, which makes it easy to use without disturbing anyone. I appreciate the streamlined design, which takes up minimal floor space. The display is large and very easy to read, though it could probably be a bit smaller since it’s mostly informational. On the plus side, it folds completely down if you want to save space, even while the treadmill is in use. A few other thoughtful features: the cup holders are massive and very handy for water bottles or accessories, the safety clip is sturdier than other brands I’ve used, and the assist mechanism to lift and lower the treadmill works smoothly and reliably. As someone at the upper limit of the weight range (300 lbs), I did notice a slight stutter when stepping at very low speed. Moving a bit further back on the treadmill helps, but my elbows did bump the bars when I was near the front. This might make it less ideal for bariatric users who need extra width, though for most people it will work well. Overall, I’m very happy with this treadmill. It’s quiet, space-efficient, and thoughtfully designed, with a few minor limitations for very heavy users. Definitely a solid choice for home workouts! After a year of use, it's holding up well. The only con is the orange clip on the lift has cracked. It's pretty easy to fix with a bit of duct tape though. ... show more

It heavy and it takes 2 people to bring it into the house. It runs smooth and very quiet. The Anne Klein motor is smooth and quiet. It can handle a 300 lb person . Only complaint is the massive screen, but it does make it easy to read the info.

    • Great Heavy Duty Treadmill - BUT.................................................
The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because of the shipping snafus that endlessly delayed shipment, delivery, and tracking. This treadmill weighs MORE than UPS can handle - claims to be 148 but actually weighs 169 pounds - in one huge, impossible to carry or lift, box. As a consequence, this box sat at Amazon headquarters for a week before I got a supervisor to fix the delay, and THEN sat for two days at the receiving end in our town because no one at UPS warehouse was able, or willing, to pick it up and deliver. Only because of a really conscientious driver did we finally get it, and he had to lift it with a "mechanical lifter", and a dolly, with assistance by us to get it into the house. (Fortunately we live on one story level with the driveway. ) This should NOT be sent via UPS - it should be sent via freight. God help you if you live up a flight of stairs. We moved it indoors via big sliders. That said, it was easy to set up ONCE you got it out of the box, and once you got it into the room where it will remain forever! That said, because it weighs so much, it is extremely sturdy, and will most likely last a very long time. The difficulty lubricating it is simply because they don't provide a lubricant extension - that needs to be ordered separately. Trying to spread the silicone beneath the belt is REALLY difficult, and makes getting it fully across the base almost impossible without a small extension tube. It has a very simple digital readout screen, runs up to 6 mph, and is very quiet motor, and has a large wide treading area (the main reason we opted for this one.) I note now at Amazon that the same model is now listed at a considerably higher price than when we purchased it - I believe that may be because they are now shipping it via freight as opposed to UPS, or UPS has a special higher cost freight section?, and, despite Amazon's "free shipping" listing, the customer pays for it within the actual cost of the item, and thus the increase in cost. Nothing is really ever free! All of that said, we are very pleased with the sturdiness, the quietness, the comfort level of this machine, and it is probably worth whatever they are charging now. Just don't expect fancy electronics, since this has the basics only. But again, we are very pleased with the overall functionality and quality of the machine. ... show more

    • This Is One Heavy Duty Piece Of Equipment
Wanting to make sure I would get a heavy duty treadmill strickly for walking I ordered this unit after reading the reviews. First be advised that this is one heavy sucker and the box is huge. I paid the extra delivery fee for them to bring it down to my basement to the room where it would be set up and I am a glad I paid the extra fee. They offered to take it out of the box for me but I declined but I wish I had taken them up on it as it was a bit of a chore to unpack. the deck unit is very heavy and it is so well packed it was difficult to get it unpacked. Disposing of all the styrofoam and box is a bit of a pain as well. Assembly is very easy. The upright arms are bolted to the deck and you just swing them up and bolt them down. Then you place the display with arms on the up rights and bolt them down. You have to connect the wiring that goes up the right upright to the display before you put the top on it. Connect the wires then clip the cable tie that holds the wire in the upright as it will interfere with getting one of the bolts in. BE SURE NOT TO PINCH THE WIRE WHEN PLACING ON THE DISPLAY. My unit came with a small bottle of lube but I got some from Amazon with a long tube on the end which makes lubing it easier. One assembled the unit is very smooth and quiet even for my 330lbs. Also at 6'2" the tread is plenty wide and long. There is a bit of incline built in which some have complained about and I ended up placing a piece of 2 x 4 under the wheels to raise the tread to almost level and makes it easier to get started. I will probably remove it once my legs get stronger. One thing I didn't take into consideration is the 7' ceiling height in basement. My head is only a few inches from the ceiling. Not a big deal but it does put my head right up into the heat. I brought a fan in to help with that. The unit also raises and lowers easily if you can handle its weight.
