I purchased this bike to augment the exercise bike I was using at physical therapy. It has only been 2 weeks, but I am really enjoying it. It came well packaged, and everything was included (including the tools needed for assembly). My son put this together for me and it took him about 2 hours. It wasn't very difficult. However, a couple of the bolts would not line up correctly and it took some maneuvering to get them to work without damaging them (or the bike) in any way. Everything else went together quite easily. The bike is a joy to ride. You have to either program a level yourself or use one of the preset programs in order to take advantage of the levels of resistance. Understanding the programming took me a little bit of time, but I managed to get it down. I think that the instructions could be a clearer on how to set the levels of resistance - it took a little trial-and-error to find out how it was done. The bike is very sturdy and solid. The seat is comfortable, easy to adjust, and locks in tight. Although, if you have more than one person using it, you might want to use a sharpie to mark the bar under the seat so that you know where to put it for each person. Pedaling is smooth and the bike is stable as I ride. I love the "shelf" where I can put my tablet and watch virtual bike rides as I work out. As I said, it's only been 2 weeks, but I am very pleased with the bike and would definitely recommend it. I will know more after a few months of riding as to how everything holds up. This Sunny bike was the sturdiest, step-through recumbent bike I could afford that Amazon would assemble. I was thrilled with the service I received. The delivery and assembly team (2 workers) assembled the bike quickly and place it exactly where I wanted it, and they were both polite and friendly. There was some difficulty at Amazon keeping my scheduled appointment, but in the end, the workers came within a couple of hours of the original time I agreed to. The bike works well, and after weeks of daily use, I have not had any performance problems with it. I have back problems but find it quite comfortable. There is an easy-to-adjust manual setting and lots of pre-set workouts. Drawbacks: Computer display is primitive, like an old video game; angle of back rest is not adjustable; pre-set programs are not designed with warm-up and cool-down periods at the beginning and end of your session; and the heart monitor adjusts to changes rather slowly. Although there is a water bottle holder on the bike, if you take your hand off the monitor pad to get a drink, when you make contact again, the computer will count up again slowly enough that it may adjust resistance based on a pulse rate lower than actual. This recumbent exercise bike is awesome. Very sturdy yet comfortable and easy to ride. It is very quiet and pedals as smoothly as any bike I’ve ridden at a commercial gym. I would highly recommend this bike to anyone looking for great quality at a reasonable price!

On a purchase of this sort, I tend to wait to issue a review. Most all products work when you receive them, it is the "longer" haul that determines the value of such goods. That having been said...within 5 months, the monitor stopped functioning. I called the manf. and rec'd troubleshooting assistance. Very helpful and we determined the issue. I had to basically disassemble the unit to fix the issue; which was fine. a week or so after the machine (unrelated to the monitor) started to make noise. A tremendous distraction and things just were not right. I once again disassembled the unit and greased all applicable moving parts. Seemed to work for about 2.5 months. Now the machine makes all kind of noise, the belt slips off no matter how many times I disassemble and reapply the belt. This product is a piece of junk no matter how attentive I have been to its maintenance. Keep in mind, the warranty has expired, and warranty work required is performed by you, the owner. The product presents itself as being durable with many of the features I sought when I purchased, but total junk. A waste of nearly $400.00 and many hours of maintenance. Do not purchase this product; apply your purchase price toward a better-quality machine (would suggest another manufacturer). I never abused the product, I was the only person that ever used the equipment. Now this equipment will have to sit in some waste dump and start the rot process which might be completed in 100 years. (I wonder if I can consider that a gift for my grandchildren? Thanks for your junk grampa.) Just an awful product. I will buy a new machine from another source and chalk this up to a waste of money, effort, and dump space, but you can benefit by my review. Do not make the same mistake. Uncle Bob ... show more
