1. The first recumbent bike had to be returned. The left pedal would not thread into the main unit because the threads were damaged (not the pedal threads but the main unit threads). After checking with the vendor and sending him close up pictures he said to return it to Amazon. Repacking was an ordeal. Watching two 78 year-olds struggling to get it in our Honda HRV would have been good comedy to watch. We're talking about 95 pounds in a big box. But once my wife and I got to UPS they took it and returned it. 2. The replacement bike is fantastic. The YouTube assembly video made it easy to assemble. The bike is quiet. Smooth ride. Love this bike. Hardest thing to do was to unpack it. Manual is retrieved using a QR code, first time I had to do that. But instructions were clear and easy to follow. Love the seat adjustment bar. Pull to unlock the brake and slide the seat to your exact bike fit. Many bikes for home and gym use the adjustments have holes that are 2 inches or more apart with a bar to push into the post for seat adjustment.     • Great recumbent bike for the price
I relied very heavily on reviews when shopping for a recumbent bike, so wanted to provide my review now that I’ve been using this bike for over 6 months. I’m 46 years old and work out regularly, but arthritis in my back and knees now prevent me from doing some of the rigorous cardio I’ve always done in the past. A recumbent bike was recommended to me as an alternative by my physical therapist. I wanted something simple that didn’t take up a lot of space. I don’t need videos of people yelling at me for motivation, or complicated screens tracking every statistic imaginable. I looked at other more expensive brands in stores, but kept coming back to the simplicity (and price) of this one. This bike was easy to assemble. It took my husband and me a little over an hour. The bike overall doesn’t take up a lot of space and it’s easy to move if needed. It’s very quiet, and makes almost no noise when pedaling at speeds up to about 15 mph. The small digital display measures speed, time, distance, calories, and heart rate. The time function is really all I use, though. The display is easy to read, until the batteries start to wear down and then begins to fade. I’ve had to replace the 2 AAA batteries about every 5 months so far, using the bike 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes per. The seat is very comfortable and easy to adjust to reach the pedals. It provides good support for my back. The bike is sturdy, but I wouldn’t recommend for high intensity workouts. I use it at a pace of about 13-15 mph, but when trying to pedal harder to get above 15 mph, the bike gets shaky. This is fine for my intended use, but may not work for intense training. The resistance is easy to adjust, but again, the higher the resistance, the shakier the bike will get as you push harder to pedal. I currently have it set at a resistance level of 5 and it’s still sturdy enough. Overall, this bike works great for me as an alternative to the treadmill for days when my back and knees won’t allow that kind of exercise. For the price, size, and simplicity, I highly recommend this for light and simple workouts. I would not recommend to those looking for intense workouts or alot of bells and whistles. ... show more

The weight is 76 lbs. so it is not too big or too heavy. Assembly is well guided with a video and a downloadable manual. Take your time, and it will go together just like they say. All the tools needed are provided. Once assembled it is easy to position. It is a solid bike and easy to use.

This is a nice bike for our needs. Very good design, assembled easily, well manufactured. Only setup glitch was the rotation sensor had to be re-aligned. We move this bike to different rooms and it's light enough for one person to easily do that. My wife likes to ride it while watching TV, and then we move it before entertaining. The seat adjustments are easy and accommodate us at 5'1" and 5'6" and we're close to the lowest setting so there's plenty of range to accommodate taller riders. We usually let the display sequence through the seven metrics to track our exercise. The pulse monitor is on the top handles, but not on the handles along the sides of the seat. Sturdy, quick to assemble, and provides a comfortable, effective workout. The magnetic resistance remains constant the whole time you're pedaling. It's very quiet and the seat matches my shape well (I'm 5'9", 160lbs, average build). I was surprised that it was smaller than its published dimensions make it seem, as it fits into my tiny TV room along with my computer stuff, shelves, and a card table. Okay, it's not in a corner or exactly out of the way, but it does fit. Now I can just hop on it whenever I need to burn calories, weather notwithstanding. Little shelf holds my 9-inch tablet perfectly, so I feel like I'm biking outdoors (the illusion is surprisingly effective). Slightly counterintuitive controls, but I mostly ignore the machine's display and just watch 30-minute videos when I use it. Highly recommended, especially considering its price. ... show more

Well here’s my thoughts… *Packaged well. Whoever packed this thing must be a master at Tetris. *Very little package materials to dispose of. This made me happy. *All parts were in good condition and all there! I laid it out just like the picture on the manual. What I loved about it is that the screws, washers, nuts, bolts, etc are separated and labeled with the steps of when you will need them. *Easy instructions to follow along. Just take it one step at a time. The manual is online. Scan the QR code and it will give you a very detailed instructions. I printed mine. This bike was exactly what my husband needed. I didn’t want anything too techy. Just needed a cardio machine for his lung cancer recovery. This bike feels sturdy. Changing the tension is easy and silent. The bike is quiet as well. Should add that I am 4’ 11” and it was not a good fit for me. Seat was pushed all the way forward and it was still hard for me to cycle. My husband is 5’8” and it was good for him. He does complain about the seat being too hard. Easy fix, I’ll buy a recumbent bike cushion. I also purchased the Sunny mat. This bike is exactly what we needed. ... show more

I’ve only used it twice & it’s comfortable, silent, not too hard to assemble (I helped my husband do it), and good value. I love how it doesn’t take up a lot of space. I don’t know if my 6’1” husband could comfortably use it but I sure can at 5’3”. I gave it 4 stars because the resistance isn’t as tough all the way up as I thought it might be but it’s good enough since it does get my heart rate up. If you are in amazing shape you may think the resistance could be more but I’m at beginner level again, needing to improve my health & fitness back to where I was. I think I’ll love watching TV while pedaling. Multi-tasking at its finest! ... show more
