I had a Bodyrider fan bike before I purchased this, and for a similar price, the difference is night and day. My old fan bike was loud and you could hear it from another room. It eventually started making loud, clinking noises from worn/loose parts, and it was a pain to hoist up and move around. This bike easily folds up to save space, and there is not a *single* sound it makes from the parts. At the highest tension setting and me riding with high intensity, there still is no sound except that of myself catching my breath. I also wanted a bike with both an upper and lower body workout, this has the retractable tension pull-cords so you can work out your arms/upper body. Best stationary bike I have ever owned So smooth , quiet and easy to assemble . It took me 45 minutes but it was so worth the quality of this equipment. You cannot try it out before you buy it so , I really lucked out that it is so great. The panel works amazingly well to monitor your progress and goals and the batteries last a long time . I think I bought the batteries anyway . I would buy it again to have for years at home . Adjusts to lean way back or sit up straight and tall according to what I need on a given day . On May 21st, my new Sunny bike arrived, after reading the instruction booklet a couple of times and checking to make sure all parts had arrived I put it together in about 1 1/2 hours. This bicycle is very heavy duty and sturdy - I had to walk the package into the house as it was much to heavy for me to lift. My test ride was 2 miles with using the hand grips and it was great with no knee pain - but definitely butt pain. I had been using a cane off and on for the past 3 years and the last 6 months using it constantly, so my doctor prescribed physical therapy for 2 months (twice a week) to build up my muscles around my knee to prepare for possible knee replacement.. I have not been able to use a bicycle for over 5 years because of knee pain. My first day of therapy I was unable to use a bicycle for warm-up - after 10 sessions I am now able to use a bicycle for 5 minutes warm-up. This gave me the resolve to get my own exercise bicycle to use especially when weather is too windy or hot to walk. After checking many on-line and store exercise bicycles and carefully reading reviews, I decided on this Sunny Health Fitness Foldable Semi-Recumbent Bicycle with arm pulls and a leg pull. I chose this bicycle because it had the something to work my arms; has a good size seat - not the little ones; has a backrest which is an extra safety precaution for me with my balance issues; takes a small footprint and can easily be folded up and moved; has a large display for time, speed, distance, calories and rpm; and the majority of reviews were very good. Next day, I road 5 continuous miles in 30 minutes, working my arms for about 10 minutes, and afterwards my leg raises. Of course, right now I am at the lowest level of tension both for riding and my arms but I am so happy - I felt it was a good workout - and best of all - NO KNEE PAIN!! Updated 5/25/18: My only con is that after riding about 15 minutes my butt starts hurting. After not being able to find a reasonably priced seat cover to fit this 13" wide 10" long 2 1/2" depth seat and no answer to my question, I finally found an acceptable solution! Walmart Mainstay brand Barstool Cushion at 13" round, it's cushioned and has elastic all around. Our local store had them in red and they are located by other chair cushions. It fits great with no adjustments needed. Okay it's not perfect I do slide a little but just reposition myself a few times - and best part I was able to ride for 45 minutes today and no butt pain! Updated 6/4/18: Well, I found a gel seat cover that fits it's by Derriair (link below). I don't slide, it was easy to put on, there is a bit of extra gel cover in the front but it just hangs down, very comfortable and well made, only con it is $60 including postage. Since I ride daily I decided it would be worth it. I contacted Derriair before buying and they said it would it and it does; I also contacted Sunny Health and they referred me to a seat which I believe is the same.     • Great quality basic bike
This bike is great if you want to add some cardio at home but aren’t a full blown cyclist . Husband assembled in an hour. It’s sturdy and quiet. It has two positions to sit in which is nice. I use to upright position. I can easily wheel it out to the living room from my office and it easily folds up to put in the closet. It also doesn’t take up a ton of space when ready To ride . It has a lip For phone or iPad which is nice. Cons: The device monitors pulse , distance , time , speed etc. I don’t think any of that is accurate except the time and maybe the distance. I don’t need bells and whistles on my bike so this doesn’t bother me. The resistance bands are kinda useless. There isn’t much tension even on tightest setting. I work out with weights separately. Overall it’s a great first bike or a more affordable option if you just want something basic! It’s sturdy and well made and quiet. ... show more

I have logged over 500 miles on this bike and it is still silent and going strong. I've worn out my fair share of cheap bikes and this is so much better. It's an amazing and affordable piece of workout equipment that is well made. I also love the cable system. The only flaw is that it isn't made for short people, which is fine because I'm about a 5'10 female. My sister who is only 5'3 however finds it a bit difficult to use because of the height of the seat even at the lowest position. I would recommend this bike for anyone 5'7" and up. ... show more

    • Comfy; Quiet; Difficult to Adjust; Not for shorter people
The assembly wasn't bad, albeit it in the usual ESL author style. I'm 69" tall and this is about perfect for me using the lowest seat setting. If you're 68" or shorter it may not ride well for you. The seat is OK but could use more padding. I'm fine with it for now though. The noise level is lower than expected. The adjusting knobs are quite difficult to use because you have to essentially remove them completely and then re-align them to get the threads started again. I may just shave off the metal pegs on the end 1/8" - 1/4" to make it easier because they are long enough. Overall it's not a bad ride for the price. It folds up well enough and rolls out of the way. I have a small space to use this in so it's perfect for that. I also like the stretch bands which allow me to work on my arms a little while riding. ... show more
