  • I LOVE THIS TREADMILL!!!
Style: Manual Incline
I absolutely LOVE this treadmill and believe that is is one of the best purchases I have made this year. I turned a 12x12 bedroom into a workout space and wanted to add a treadmill because I work 9-10 hours a day at a computer. I had no weight bearing exercise and do not like to walk outside. I paid for the Amazon delivery men to setup for me and immediately was able to use it. It is fantastic. Three incline levels are fine for me and the speed is great as well. The treadmill is not an overbearing piece of equipment in the room. I also have a bike, weight bench, power rider and free weights. I noticed negative comments about the cup holders and this does not apply to me. I use water bottles. I put a water bottle in one cup and the TV remote in the other, and am all set. The price is also great. It is easy to adjust the incline and move. It is a fantastic treadmill for my needs and I am VERY HAPPY with it!!! ... show more

  • Good for the price
Style: Manual Incline
I've had this treadmill for about a year now. It was easy to assemble; I am not handy and I did it myself with just the tools provided. The heart rate monitor takes a long time to register during a workout and I'm not sure how accurate it always is. It's comfortable to walk or jog on, and it's easy to adjust the incline. (To change the incline from 0, 3, or 6 degrees, you lift up the far end of the treadmill and the hydraulic lift keeps it up; this is also a way to store it in a smaller space, though it doesn't get that small. You manually take out the pins on either side of the edge of the treadmill and place them in one of three holes to get the desired incline. You do have to stop the treadmill and get off it in order to change the incline, it is not seamless. Additionally, the highest incline is still pretty minimal; I'm used to power walking at a 15 degree incline, and this is definitely not that!) I keep it in the usable position and in the same spot in my living room all the time, though if I need to move it it's mostly easy as a single person. Initially I was wheeling it to the balcony every morning to workout so as not to wake up my roommate. Moving it is doable though not pretty, but I'm a young, healthy, able-bodied person (not very strong though; when I weight lift I use 10lb free weights). There are start/stop buttons next to the heart rate monitor, so I've accidentally turned it off before, but not a big deal. The water bottle holder is very shallow and narrow so most of my (reusable) water bottles don't fit there; there also isn't a way to set your phone on the machine to watch TV or even just keep track of the time. (I considered buying a plastic device to set over the screen to hold my phone but ended up buying a big screen TV.) It's pretty quiet in my opinion, though when it turns on or off it beeps three times. I don't think it's loud but my roommate would awaken even by doors opening, so she would hear it. For the price, I'm happy with it! ... show more

  • Still Very Happy After One Year Of Use — Observations
Style: Manual Incline
I bought the Sunny SF-T7603 treadmill for $339.95 in March 2017. I have used it daily for over a year with only a few missed days. I am 6'1" and weigh 140 pounds. I walk at 4.0 mph for 25 minutes a day. I can't comment on the programs and features I don't use, but for my specific use the treadmill has worked great. It does exactly what I need for a reasonable price. Here are the treadmill actions I take each session. 1. Turn the power on at the base. 2. Stand on the belt and connect the safety key's clip to the front of my shirt. 3. Press the Mode button on the console. 4. Press the + button on the console until the time display shows 25:00 minutes. 5. Press the Start button on the console. 6. Wait for the 3-second countdown to complete and show a speed 0.5 mph. 7. Press the 4 mph button on the console to change the speed to 4.0 mph. 8. Walk for 25 minutes until the belt stops automatically when the time is up. 9. Unclip the safety key from my shirt. 10. Turn off the power button at the base. I'll comment on several things that some people might like to know. During installation the bolt I used to connect the right upright to the console turned freely in the hole without tightening. The bolt's threads were faulty. Luckily, the bolt I removed from the safety block in one of the first steps was the same size. I used the safety block's bolt in the right upright and it worked perfectly. I followed the instructions in the manual to adjust the belt several times during the first few weeks. After I finally got it just right I didn't have to adjust it anymore. Oiling the running board underneath the belt is awkward and messy. I use the bent wire end of a large paperclip to lift up the edge of the belt on each side for oiling. I let the console tell me when it's time to oil again, which the manual says is every 188 miles. The container of oil that came with the treadmill has lasted a year. The pulse monitor does not work as I expected and I don't know how to interpret the results. The instructions say to hold the pulse monitors for 5 seconds to display your heartbeat in beats per minute. If I hold the pulse monitors for 5 seconds, the display says my pulse is 72 no matter how long I've been walking. If I continue to hold the pulse monitors as I walk the display slowly climbs to 140-150. If I let go and hold for 5 seconds again, it shows 72 again and slowly climbs again. I asked Sunny Technical Support how to interpret those readings. They answered that it gives an estimate of my heart rate and is not medical grade. I know my heart rate doesn't slow to 72 and slowly climb to 150 every time I release and hold the pulse monitors. I'm guessing that when the display finally stops climbing it is showing my heart rate, but that may not be correct and I have no confidence in the readings. At the end of my 25 minutes the belt slows to a stop and a few seconds later all the data on the console clears to zeroes. If you're not attentive and quick to read the data you won't see how far you walked or how many calories you burned. The display shows the speed in large digits and uses much smaller digits for the time, distance, calories, and pulse. My speed is always 4.0, so that number is of the least interest to me, but it is the only one I can easily read without my glasses. I like to swing my arms when I walk. I have to be very careful not to let my hands hit the handles. The manual says, "Your product is intended for use in cool, dry conditions." I do not use air conditioning and my treadmill room is frequently 90°F in the summer. So far the treadmill has worked flawlessly without overheating. The attached pictures show the console, the left handle, and the right handle. ... show more
