  • Super sleek and slim/compact treadmill that really folds flat!
BEAUTIFUL AT-HOME TREADMILL: Been looking for a streamlined, foldable, and dare a girl dream, attractive electronic treadmill for a long awhile...I literally googled 'attractive treadmill'—apparently, it's not a thing. ;) NOT GYM GRADE, BUT STILL BEAUTIFUL AND FUNCTIONAL: I used to have a workhorse of a treadmill that despite its utilitarian/gym-grade design and girth, it kinda sorta folded flat, but at more of a distinct angle due to the overall real estate the control panel, base, etc needed...ya know, like most of the 'fold flat' options. Flash forward to today where, living in a more limited space with no dedicated 'gym room' to be had, I wanted something accessible but easily folded up/tucked away within a dual-purpose space. Now, this little beauty when folded up is lighter and more streamlined and super easy to wheel around (as long as you feel strong enough to lift one side to make it upright first (and this middle age, relatively out of shape woman can easily do it) as the folding flat process is two-fold: First, you release the control panel/handle section to fold it down flat onto the treadmill belt resting on the floor. Then, you lift up one side of the treadmill and voila, you have a truly standing upright and flat treadmill that you can maneuver and wheel around fairly easily and store vertically without it needing to lean on anything. Yay! (Disclaimer: I know the manufacturer states it needs to lean on something, but, thus far, that has not been my experience.) REASONABLY PRICED/LOVELY DESIGN: I was nervous when ordering it, because although fairly reasonably priced, it's still north of $800 when all is said and done, and I have a strong, and ok potentially unrealistic, expectation for what I was looking/hoping to find...happily, I can report it's pretty damn cool. I even like the subtle pink color...not too pink, but just enough to soften the look vs having to settle for the standard black/silver gym equipment. I set it up in my living room (boy, was that box HEAVY, even just dragging on ground from my front door into my livingroom took some doing) and I gotta say the machine is attractive open or close, especially at such 'low' price point for what's looking to be a decent treadmill. SOLID FOOTPRINT: Please note I've only had it for a couple weeks, and haven't done any hardcore running on it yet, but so far so good. :) I call it my baby treadmill, but it doesn't feel too narrow or small for a decent jog, but I'm only 5'2" and just getting back into shape so we'll see. That said, it's looking to be perfect for what I needed: a compact, attractive, foldable, but solid machine for daily light jog/run..sure, .I won't be breaking any records on this one, but it's getting me up and moving so I'm happy. As far as testing it out, as of this writing, I've been starting with a 15-30 minute steady paced walk (3 mph) ramping up to 3 min jog/sprints up to 4-4.5 for a 45-60 min session in total and, so far, the machine feels solid, the only weak point being my currently limited fitness level. ;) No treadmill shaking or noise issues with either incline or speed either. Granted, I do turn up the volume on the tv more than usual when running and the elevation options are limited, but effective (incrementally up to 12), and some of the programming buttons are not intuitive...something to keep in mind if that matters to you which kinda did to me, but getting over it as I slowly learn what each do (ie: reading the manual). In short, for someone looking to get a little cardio going without committing to a much larger or pricier gym-level type machine, this one works really great..and doesn't look or feel as budget-friendly and compact as it is. Very happy! Bravo Asuna. :) ASSEMBLY: This too was a breeze, and basically a non-issue, so much so I cancelled the professional assembly appointment. The only assembly caveat being if you want the secondary handles installed (heart rate handles already attached), just know that you apparently will have to remove them every time you want to fold it flat (at least that’s how I interpreted the manual) which was the main reason I bought the fabulous thing in the first place (ie: ease in folding when done) so I opted to leave the second handles off and, so far, do not miss them—at all. The hardest part of 'assembly' was me trying to deadlift the 140+ lb machine out of the box..fortunately, I figured out a smarter work-around (desperation breeds invention, does it not?), dismantling the box around the treadmill and pulling it out from under the machine...much easier! Also, a big THANK YOU to the two Amazon dudes who hauled the box up 17 steps to my front door. I wasn't here, but saw what their heroic efforts on my door camera. They even called me upon arrival. They are seriously delivery rockstars! Bravo Amazon. :) EARLY REVIEW...so far so good, but if I have any issues, I'll be back to update this puppy. Healthy running everyone! ... show more

  • Great treadmill at a great price!
I've had this treadmill for a couple years now. It's quiet, runs well, and easy to watch TV or have a conversation with someone while using. When we downsized our home, I gave up my gym size treadmill and bought this smaller one. What I love about it is that I can manage it myself (set-up, moving around), unlike the gym-sized one! It's also slim enough that it doesn't command attention in my studio! ... show more

  • Space saving, easy set up, moderate maneuverability - definitely recommended
Just got this treadmill about an hour ago. It took longer to get through the packing materials than it did to set up! I was very pleased! It is more compact than I expected, but no less impressive! I struggled a bit to lube the power deck under the belt, but finally (gently) used the accompanied Allen wrench to lift the belt up (closer to the front or top of the treadmill) and gently slide it to the middle. I was then able to use the lubricant with attached flexible straw and zig zag from the top to the bottom of the deck on both sides. I turned on the treadmill at lowest power (0.6) for about 4 minutes just to be safe. The noise level is minimal, but it's not super quiet if that's what you're expecting. This was something I looked for in reviews and videos prior to purchasing. Mine is in my living room on wood floors and I don't expect will disturb anyone in the house if I get up early. The display is vibrant and easy to read. One of the things that drew me to this model was the small footprint, slimline and clean appearance. It's a sturdy machine with little to no bulk. There are pre-programmed workouts, but I'm happy to adjust on my own using the handle grips - which are very responsive. If you're a runner, you may want to spend a little less on similar Sunny models without the incline, but I plan to moderate walk on incline for a better low-impact workout. I tore my meniscus earlier this year and I think this will be my answer for keeping active and avoiding surgery! It is a bit on the heavy side and not as "just fold it up and store it when you're done!" as they make it out to be. I'm a 50 year old, fairly strong woman and I can handle it, but was glad to have it set up and need to do that too often. The weight is listed as 127lbs, but feels more like 40lbs when lifting and using the wheels. My husband and I were able to move the box around after the two young guys from Amazon delivered it to my living room. Lay it flat to unpackage and you basically just raise up the bar after unpacking! They recommend removing the safety handle bars when you lower the bar back down, so if you're not going to use them...don't bother installing. ... show more
