Arrived fast and seemed to be quality materials. Nice heavy powder coating. The instructions were quite clear and the parts were well marked so assembly was very fast and was done in 1/2 hour. I put in the 20lb propane tank and started right up. Was disappointed that the unit doesn't quite stand straight up. Close but just off enough to really bother me. I tried to straighten it but wouldn't budge. Seems as if the pre drilled holes were slightly off. Doen't affect performance so I am keeping it. Purchased "it as" the product shouldn't be damaged, just the packaging was damaged. But upon putting it together, it has a small dent on it. Easy to put together if you have another person helping. I have not purchased propane yet to use. So am hoping it heats like it is supposed to!

I ordered this from Amazon and bought another one at Costco. The Costco model was $20 more and the assembly for both took me 20 minutes and was identical. The Costco model has a weighted base and the guage if steel seems thicker. I've used both of them twice and they throw the same amount of heat. My concern with this one is it's stability. It seems pretty top heavy and if your 20lb propane tank isn't full it wouldn't take much of a breeze to knock it over. The base has brackets to screw it a wood deck but my patio is concrete. It has done well the two times I've used it but needs to be brought into the garage when not in use so it doesn't blow over in the wind. ... show more
