Some of the reviews for this product concerned me, but I’m so happy I went ahead and bought these rods in both sizes. They were easy to install and look great. Whoever said the “minimum length is actually 83.5 inches” for the longer version of this product is entirely wrong. If you want to shorten the long rod, you just have to remove one of the supplied rods. As everyone has said, yes the texture feels like sandpaper, but that is not a problem if you use curtain hooks or have the curtains with the metal rivets in them to hang from. I am so happy with this curtain rod and the double rod design. I have hung 6 in both short and long versions. I used a sheer curtain on the inside and a linen-like curtain on the outside (both from Target and very happy with them). So anyway, I highly recommend this rod compared to other double curtain rods. I compared MANY. Great value product. Good quality. Looks great. Works well. No complaints. I used Molly bolts and they worked like a charm in my walls which are plaster in some rooms and drywall in other rooms. Oh, and the guy who said it was hard to access the 4th hole because the rod is blocking it, ignore that because 3 mounting points per side is plenty. I didn’t even bother using the 4th hole and my rods are super sturdy and you don’t even see it from the ground. Last tip: I recommend sewing the curtains to the desired length FIRST and then hanging the rods with the curtains hanging on them to get that absolute perfect “kiss” of the curtains on the floor where they aren’t bunching and there’s also not too much of a gap. Good luck! Oh, and these also come off as a dark gray color and not black like the images, but they still look excellent. ... show more

These beautiful curtain rods stand the test of time and make my living room pop with the industrial high-quality look. In the inner pile I used a sheer curtain and the outer rod a more heavy dusty curtain which gives me options all year round and a great day to night transition. Love!!!

*Not Sun Zero brand as claims. Instructions in box are for Kenny brand. Suppose could be same manufacturer, but product is mislabeled. Small instructions that aren’t very clear and print very small. Not totally clear that longer windows need 3 rods for each front and back. Picture kind of shows it but it’s not explicit. Otherwise easy to assemble. And I did it alone. Looked for a double rod that wrapped around and didn’t extend out 6-7+ inches from the wall. This fits that perfectly! It’s matte black metal. Other reviews reference the rods being rough but my sheer panels moved fine on the rods. It just feels matte texture but not particularly rough. Not a ton of space between front and back rods. I chose panel cheers for back and blackout grommets for front. They both move fine. Seems to block sun well. I get afternoon sun on these windows so will be great in the summer. I used existing holes in my walls but center is a bit high. I’ll adjust that soon. Otherwise love the look. ... show more

We use these to put blackout curtains on the outside and sheer curtains on the inside...We get privacy and a nice full look on the inside. The rounded corners help the blackout curtains get all the way against the wall compared to a traditional rod that doesn't really connect to the wall in the same way. ... show more

This is perfect for my large sliding glass door. We do not use the door in the winter and I wanted a heavy duty curtain rod to hang a thick curtain to keep drafts out. And it is definitely sturdy.     • Decent for a low end with the right look

These were decent enough, fairly easy to install by myself. I really like the look of them which is why I bought them, that industrial pipe look has always been one of my favorites. However the inner bar that clips onto the corner pieces that are screwed into the wall feel very cheap and the screws don't seem to be attached well to the plastic piece (no mechanical or chemical adherence). The measurements given on the listing are completely wrong from what I can tell, where for my windows which are 6 foot wide (not counting the extra distance on either side of the window that increases the length to where the bar is mounted) only used two of the rods. If you want the look for not too much money these are a decent buy but know that quality of them is not the best by a long stretch. The other complaint I had was the bars are textured rough, so that curtains with grommets do well but the sheer curtains I have on the inner bar are a pain to get on unless you sand down the rod - which I did so I wouldn't have to fight getting the curtains on. Again, decent price for low quality with the right look, if you can afford the higher quality you will be happy you went with them, if you can't, these are not terrible. ... show more
