I generally like Totes umbrellas, but you need to know what you are getting. This is a nice little umbrella to keep in the car or in a work bag. It doesn't take up much space and isn't very heavy. It will also keep you dry during a medium rainfall. That being said, this is a small umbrella. It won't do great with windy conditions or a heavy rain. It also will keep you dry, but that's it. Don't count on a backpack or anything also staying dry, as this umbrella is not very large.

This is definitely one of the smallest umbrellas I have ever come across; yet surprisingly very well made. It's lightweight but somehow the metal frame is still sturdy. It is a little "stiff" feeling when I go to open and close it though. I have to put a little muscle into it. And for that reason, I don't love that it doesn't have an automatic pop open button. But I suppose that is the trade off for making a compact design.

This is a nice small umbrella that's easy to carry in your purse or backpack without a lot of added bulk. When we first received this, we couldn't get it to open. Somehow it had become jammed. Once we got the release to engage, it has been great since.

A compact size this folding umbrella measures just 10 inches in length and is 2 inches in diameter at its widest point. Measured when open the diameter is approximately 40 inches. I selected the black model and the handle is also black so it has an overall understated appearance. The umbrella operates completely manually—unwrap the hook and loop band, pull upward to extend and then secure by pushing the locking ring to the top. A good change is the lack of a sleeve not that it wasn’t well intended but it is a superfluous piece I usually promptly lose. Another positive is the hook and loop band that wraps around the folded umbrella is wider than many models and it makes it easier to create a neatly compressed unit. There is also a woven wrist strap so it is convenient to carry or it may be used to place on a coat rack or hook. The fabric is treated to repel water and is stated to keep it 4 times drier than a standard umbrella which is definitely a benefit but after collapsing an open umbrella the fabric did not neatly fall into folds. Perhaps this is caused by the water repellant treatment on the fabric but whatever the cause it resulted in additional time spent flattening the fabric so it could be properly wrapped. Appears to be a good quality umbrella although I cannot speak to the longevity or wind resistance.

This is a nice umbrella. Easy to open and close and I love the paisley print. Good quality. However it’s a smaller umbrella, definitely for one person. And I wouldn’t call it heavy duty. Probably wouldn’t be great in high winds. Fine for running too and from the car etc.

This is a very nicely packaged compact umbrella. I really like that they've done away with an umbrella cover and just provided a larger velcro strap for securing it. It's a well thought out design. The size of this umbrella is not much larger than your typical plastic water bottle (see picture). This allows for me to easily tuck the umbrella away for future use in the pocket of my car door. I really appreciate the minimal amount of space it takes up. Although this is an "auto" open and close umbrella, it does not use a button to extend the umbrella. You simply give it a good pull to fully extend it and manually slide up the collar to open the umbrella itself. It opens very smoothly. The umbrella is not difficult to close. However, I do find myself having to wiggle the collar a bit to get past the initial third of the umbrella's pole if I'm closing the umbrella with a more delicate hand. If I close the umbrella a bit faster and with a little more force I do not encounter any resistance. The extending and collapsing of the pole itself feels very good. There is not much play between the parts and there is a welcome bit of resistance making me think that this umbrella should last a long time. This is a compact umbrella and as-such, I wouldn't expect to get coverage for more than one person. Given that, my large golf umbrella will probably take a back seat to this smaller umbrella in my car. I haven't had the chance to use the umbrella in the rain, but I'm looking forward to see how well this repels water as the label claims water rolls right off and the umbrella stays 4x drier than a standard umbrella.

Hope the video is helpful👍.The Never wet technology is definitely something worthwhile as who likes to carry a soggy umbrella around when you could shake it off to dry quicker? The click open and close is simple to use. The skeleton that holds it open seems flimsy and weak in my opinion. It's not advertised as withstanding heavy winds so I would not use it in a windy storm unless one wants to find themselves with an inverted or broken umbrella. The umbrella is small, lightweight and super compact. It will not hold more than a single person. This is my backup umbrella that I keep in the car door or in my bag. It's not my main one but it's small enough to be an emergency one. I do not recommend it at MSRP of 32, but at half that I would for a spare. Appreciate the feedback👍. Cheers🍻!
