This stepper is very easy to use. It come with the resistance tube. I like the way this stepper help to keep track of the time, cal, and the step count. Also, this stepper is not like the treadmill, it doesn't take up much space and is not that heavy. This gives the flexibility to move the stepper around and exercise indoor or outdoor. Omgosh, after 10min of using it for the first time the front of my thighs were burning!!! I'm not a newbie, I use the eliptical 5x a week for at least 30min at a time and the front of my legs don't ever feel like this...so ya I think this is working something, lol. Right now I use it in my living room, on carpet, while I'm watching TV and it doesn't move around but I do plan on taking it to work too see if I can use it at my stand up desk. Either I haven't found it or it doesn't do it, but I do wish I could change the resistance to more resistance, but fr you get a leg workout just the way it is. It's very sturdy and not made of cheap material at all. Well all except the hooks that connect the 2 resistant bands....they're plastic. The resistant band should only be used after your more steady on the stepper imo. The digital display has a step counter, keeps time and a calorie counter. If you happen to stop stepping...the time will pause until you start to step again. ... show more
