I use this in my big 20qt pot to steam crab legs and it was the perfect size. You need to measure the inside value of your pot to see if it will fit. I saw in others reviews that it wouldn't fit properly.

I have been looking for a new steamer rack to replace my current one which is just like a cookie cooling rack and it is spaced too far apart to sometimes steam my items right on it - too much exposure to the water / it requires a bowl to put on top which doesn't fit the pot I really prefer to steam in. And when I hand wash it, the metal pieces sometimes stab me. Enter this beauty! It has legs, has holes on a mostly solid base - so I could just place my item on top to steam instead of using a bowl. The savings on height means I can use a smaller pot to steam my stuff! It is very large, almost a foot across, but it will be great for when I'm hosting / needing to meal prep larger amounts of food. This a is good steaming rack, just be sure to check the size. It's bigger than I thought and only fits in one of my pots, and just barely at that. I won't me using it as much as intended, for that reason, but that's my fault for not measuring.

    • Works but very cheap and fragile
Very chinsy. I'd suggest getting a better model. It works but on mine, the legs have totally collapsed and they have to be reshaped "bent back" frequently

    • Very good Stainless steel steamer rack
I was very pleased by the thickness of the stainless steel steamer rack. These usually have a great deal of flex. This steamer rack will allow me to use my wok as a steamer for fish and dumplings.
