My unit works fine, it produces pinpoint steam with good pressure. Great for detailing! I would never recommend this for large jobs. If you can reach an area by hand then that's how you should clean it. If you need to reach tight spots to make your cleaning job look perfect this will help.

Use it every weekend. Stays hot. The heat went out with my last one, didn't even last a month. If you're looking into buying one do not get the one with the digital screen. The heating element went out on mine. Get the one you use the dial for settings, It just seems to work better overall.

I bought this steam cleaner hoping to clean and disinfect my floors and other surfaces, but I was very disappointed with its performance. The steam (warm water fine mist) was NOT hot enough. steam cleaners need to reach high temperatures and maintain contact with the surface for several minutes to disinfect and sanitize properly . This steam cleaner barely reached 100°C (212°F). I felt like I was just spraying fine mist of warm water, not steam. This defeats the whole purpose of using a steam cleaner, which is to use the power of heat and pressure to remove dirt and kill germs without chemicals. To test this steamer, I tried cleaning out my window sills, and it failed miserably. The picture below shows how dirty they still were after using the steam cleaner. I have a lot of experience using an industrial clothing steamer/press and using that clothing steamer, which has no pressure, would have cleaned it better than this supposedly pressurized steam cleaner. It's a glorified warm water sprayer. I do not recommend this product to anyone who wants a reliable and effective steam cleaner. It is a waste of money and time. (See image) ... show more

    • works but wand is kinda jank
This does put out hot steam at good pressure. But the handle isn't insulated enough and will get a bit too warm after a few minutes. Additionally the nut at the end of the wand that holds the metal bit to the plastic handle had stripped the plastic threads during factory assembly, as there was no way to even get it snug. The only reason it hasn't fallen off is the rubber boot over it. It isn't too expensive though and uses a regular computer power cable, so you could always buy a longer one. ... show more
