Ended up not being the problem, but rather the control board failed on the garage fridge. Regardless, I kept this part installed, replaced the control board, and have the 15 yr old overload/relay capacitor as a back up. The new one connects differently (pic is of the old one) from the old one but was a design change by GE and has no impact on install—just unplug, plug in, connect the 2 connectors. Easy install and works just fine, a fraction of the cost of buying a OEM and/or having a service tech come out. ... show more
