Love this recumbent bike. The main reason I purchased is because it is the same bike I was using at therapy after my knee replacement. It was well used there at the clinic and still operated and looked great. It is built to last. I tried other bikes, but they were uncomfortable. This bike is comfortable and the seat is easy to adjust with the leaver in front of the seat. The arm rests can also flip up to aid in getting on and off the bike if necessary.     • Poor Electronics
The bike is missing a few features that might have driven a 4 or 5 star review. First, there is no battery or AC option so you need to pedal to fire up the electronics. No problem, but the second you quit peddling, to grab something, the bike loses all power and you lose your workout. Why not put a couple of AA batteries in there to save the workout for 60 seconds? Or better, save all your workouts. Second, the bootup is really slow, takes like a minute to set your weight, level, and time. Easy fixes, just poor programming. Next, my knees bump the handles and there is no way to lower the seat; you can slide back and forth, just not adjust up and down. Poor design. The armrests are not very comfortable, I ended up slipping a couple of pillows over them as I like to read while riding. It solved the problem, but comfortable armrests should be standard. The bike itself seems well made, is solid, love the fan. Too bad the engineers didn't do a bit more engineering. ... show more

I had to have a left knee replacement and this is the bike they used at the rehab. It has been wonderful to have this at my home. The kids and grandkids love using it too. It has help with my therapy more than I can address. I highly recommend this bike. I did have star trac contact me and for an additional $200 they had an authorized star trac person put the bike together and deliver it to me. I opted not to pay the amazon dealer figuring Star Trac would do a great job and they did. I am very happy. ... show more

    • Very nice piece of equipment.
I expected a high quality piece if equipment comparable to what I use at 24 hour fitness and I have not been disappointed. It was delivered well boxed on a pallet. There were essentially three pieces--the frame, the console and the seat. It all came together easy and I was using it within 15 minutes of unboxing it. I've used it everyday for the last three weeks. I did have to have a service person come out to look at it because there was some metal shavings coming from the pedal, so he took the pedal off and re-installed it with some lubricant and it's been working fine, I love it! ... show more
