I've been using the Stanley Shop Vac for about 3 months now, and I must say, it's been an absolute game changer! The suction power is fantastic, and it handles everything from sawdust to dirt with ease. I love this item it's high quality and I use it for everything I vacuum myself off when I come in from outside I used it to get fleas off the cats. I used it to capture and kill flies. I used it to vacuum my walls. If I'm in early and not taking a shower yet I vacuum off my legs and feet. This item has endless uses especially since you can like pour some nice quality soap or skin lotion on and vacuum it off. The main powerful use is to vacuum up insects around your house. I hate insects and this has been invaluable after some little kittens left my house to go outside and fleas would get on the bottom of my legs and I could vacuum them off. So amazing. I love this thing they think they're for men but women could find a thousand uses for these. ... show more

    • This Stanley SL18116P WetDry Vacuum Is POWERFUL, Light-Weight, And It's A BARGAIN!
This "Stanley - SL18116P WetDry Vacuum, 6 Gallon, 4 Horsepower Black" is GREAT! I replaced a 6 gallon SHOP-VAC brand vacuum, that's motor started smoking... (I've always gotten the actual SHOP-VAC brand, and, I WAS happy with it, until it died!) FYI, it was one of those with the chromed metal can. But, THIS STANLEY SL18116P has a PLASTIC CAN, and it seems to be noticeably lighter, when I need to carry it around! The STANLEY SL18116P also has 4HP, rather than the 3.5HP that the SHOP-VAC had, and this Stanley vacuum REALLY WORKS WELL! BTW, several years ago, I fell for those stupid, fancy red-colored upright vacuums, for around the house... but, it turned out that they were NOT very good vacuums. Well, after a few of those kind of poor-excuses-for-a-vacuum, I decided to just bring my SHOP-VAC inside...! Ever since then, that's what I've used around the house, a SHOP-VAC. Actually, I also own a KERBY GEN4 upright, now, that I paid just $25 for, at a Garage Sale! (Which is something like $1,400 retail!) And, the KERBY REALLY DOES WORK WELL! But, I'll tell ya, this "Stanley - SL18116P WetDry Vacuum, 6 Gallon, 4 Horsepower Black" is every bit as powerful a suck-er as the KIRBY, and, it's much lighter, too! (Of course, it doesn't have any sort of a "beater-bar" attachment, but, it DOES come with the usual attachments, and it STILL DOES A GREAT JOB, especially IF you have hardwood, or tile floors!) PLUS, THIS SUCKER can literally LIFT THE CARPET OFF THE FLOOR! WOW! And, I think the PRICE is reasonable, for what you get! It could even be considered a BARGAIN! (Except, I just noticed, that it seems to have gone up 10 bucks, just since I bought it! But, still.) So, whether you're wanting a SHOP-VAC-type vacuum to use in your Shop, to vacuum your Car, for around the House, or WHATEVER, I would totally recommend this Stanley - SL18116P! I haven't used it for anything WET, yet, but, for DRY, it's REALLY GREAT! (NOTE: I did NOT receive this product through any Promotion, I bought and paid for it myself.) ... show more

    • Great powerful little vacuum
Great vacuum, easy to get started. Used it immediately to suck up about 6 gallons of water (don't forget to remove the dry filter). Let it dry out, added back in the dry filter and use it constantly for saw dust and work site clean up. It is VERY light, which makes moving it a breeze. Honestly for the price, I'd recommend for sure. The size is good, it gives you a decent amount of storage before needing to empty, while keeping it light and easy to move.
