This is a great replacement pump for a small above ground pool. It is a very quiet efficient pool filter/pump. It uses very little electricity compared to most pool pumps.

My grandkids have been begging their parents for an above-ground pool for several months. My son finally got one, so they are very happy. He got a larger pool which needed a larger pump. Above ground pools don't require a pump but it makes for such a better experience, cleaner water, etc, that with the reasonable price of several of these pumps, it makes sense to get one. This pump has a large flow rate, 800 GPH (gallons per hour), the company's biggest pump for biggest pools (up to 4800 gallons). It's a durable plastic pump (they all are plastic), with an inner pleated cartridge filter, and has multiple hoses to connect to the pool. Unlike many pumps, it has a GFCI plug, which is great for electrical safety. There's a link to an installation video in the instructions which my husband and son followed to set up the system. It wasn't too difficult. And the water went from OK, a bit murky, with little bits of leaves and debris floating around, to being crystal clear--much more ideal for swimming pool fun. You can hear the pump but it's not overwhelming. Maintenance is easy--just take out the pleated cartridge every two weeks and rinse off debris with the hose. We're all very satisfied with this large flow rate pump and definitely think it's good value.

I’ve been using this 800 GPH above ground pool filter pump for a little while now, and it’s made a noticeable difference in keeping my pool water clean. Setup was simple and didn’t take long at all. The instructions were easy to follow, and everything connected without any issues. It fit well with my above ground pool and started circulating water right away once I got it running. For a smaller to medium-sized pool, the flow rate seems just right. It keeps the water moving consistently, and I’ve noticed the water staying clearer with less debris floating around. The cartridge does a good job catching fine particles, especially things like dirt and small debris that usually slip through weaker filters. It runs fairly quiet, which I appreciate since the pool is close to the house. I also like that it doesn’t feel overly bulky, so it’s easy to manage and maintain. Cleaning or replacing the cartridge is straightforward and doesn’t take much time. Overall, this pump does exactly what I need it to do for everyday pool maintenance. This is an above ground pool filter pump with a large 800 GPH flow rate, making this pump one of the most powerful in the market. It made short work of the 10 gallon dog bath tub, recirculating the water rapidly and continuously with no observed issues. Did not overheat or short out. the pump kept effortlessly doing its job running for approx 20 minute of testing. A highly reliable filter pump with large water capacity and flow rate, this would be the pump to get for large above ground pools. A 5 star highly recommended pool cleaner accessory. get yours today

Really happy with this pool filter pump so far. It seems high quality and made well, and everything fit together nice and snug without any leaks. All the pieces were included and the setup was pretty straightforward. Once we got it running, it did a great job circulating the water and the pool started looking clearer pretty quickly. It’s also quieter than I expected, which is nice when the kids are swimming and we’re just hanging out nearby. Overall, it works exactly like it should and feels like it’s built to last. Definitely a great buy if you need a reliable filter pump for an above ground pool. I will update review in a month or so when it's been up and running longer !

The media could not be loaded. The pump works well and has a decent build quality. It runs quietly and smoothly. The included hoses feel a little cheap, but function well. It can be a challenge to get them connected without displacing the rubber o-rings, but after some patience and twisting, they connected well and don't leak.
