My Adirondack cabin is need of many repairs, some of which will be done by myself. This level is going to be attached to my hip for a number of them. These things are on my repair list; well pump house roof, deck rails, deck step hand railings, rear door step, hang fireplace mantle and shelves. That’s my starting point, I know more will be added on. A years ago a tornado blew a tree over onto the side of the cabin. It shifted some of the supports that should have been taken care of before this😱 I’ve already taken the level and set it down in five different places and it’s shown me just how unlevel the floors are now. Even standing it up against the side of the kitchen door frame showed how off that was. It was very unsettling to see just how bad it was. This I-beam level is really light weight while it’s still very solidly made. It’s a good addition to have in my collection of useful tools.

I've been in the market for a decent level for a while. As luck (or the algorithm) would have it, Amazon offered me this one. It's well designed and fairly well constructed. Definitely seems like a good value for the price. Can't wait to use it on my future projects!

The first thing I said when I opened up the box this came is was "this is way better than I expected." I've been using my set of Stabila levels for about thirty years. They are great, but the 24 inch Stabila level runs three times what this one does. At today's prices, there is no way I would go with the fancy brand when something like this Channellock is available for one third the price. It isn't made of steel, I think the bar is made of some sort of composite. And, it does flex a little. But, it does the job, and it is way, way better than some of the cheap imported levels I have come across. I have a lot of Channelock tools. They have done a pretty good job of maintaining quality in an era in which just about everything is being manufactured offshore. This level is not an exception. For the DIYer or maybe even a pro, this thing is a good buy.

This is a nice little level to have around the house. It’s nice and small and lightweight, and is great to have around. This level seems to be made of good quality. It seems very accurate and should help out with basically almost any little thing you need to level around the house. I don’t know how it would do in a real construction situation, I think you would need something a little bit longer than this in that kind of job. I like the little touches of things like a built-in handle, protected ends, and three different viles. I like the fact that as lightweight, and doesn’t take up a lot of room. Definitely a nice tool to have around the house for hanging pictures, or working on small projects around the house.

My old 2-foot level bit the dust last year when sunlight caused the fluorescent dye to no longer fluoresce, hence the need to replace it. This ChannelLock level is very well-made. The fit and finish are excellent. The I-beam construction is solid. The fluorescent dye in the tube is clearly visible, even in the rather dimly lit chicken coop. As I had suspected, the chicken water heater was not level, causing water to leak all over the floor. Fortunately, this level helped me fix the issue. The chickens will be happy next winter.

The features are pretty clear in the product description: solid aluminum (non-magnetic), top window for viewing the center bubble from above, comfortable handle. It claims to be accurate to within 0.0005 in., although I doubt I can gauge to that level of accuracy by looking at the bubbles with my eyeball. Measurements match my other level and are correct as far as I am able to test it. The production quality seems high. I expect to be able to use this level for many years.

This size level is perfect for most of the DIY home stuff. I like the touch of it. It's not too heavy like other levels of its size, so I don't feel like I'm wrestling with it in the moment. I also am happy that it isn't magnetic. That's a hit and miss thing, depending on the project. I appreciated the handle cutout and the rubber edges. I think it's pretty much perfect for my needs.
