The Stanbroil Rectangular Stainless Steel Gas Fireplace H-Burner provides a great option for any indoor or outdoor fireplace project. Included with this fireplace burner kit will be the stainless steel burner, damper clamp, an inlet fitting, a flared fitting, and a 12" flex connector. The 18 x 6 inch rectangular stainless steel H burner is constructed from 304 stainless steel and delivers a bright, beautiful flame - plus it looks great when accompanied with their trademark fire glass. Each stainless steel burner is neatly machine welded to produce a seamless and durable product, so you can enjoy a warm & cozy fire for many years to come. This unit should be installed by a professional installer, and is intended for natural gas applications to be used in a vented firebox only.

We replaced the very worn-out burner in our open gas fireplace with this burner, and we could not be more pleased with it. We covered it up with mirrored black fireglass, the old logs, and some cast iron skulls from here on Amazon. I think you'll agree, the effect is rather stunning! The burner does heat effectively and quickly, and our cats are very, very happy with it. No whistle, either! Would definitely recommend this set. The black gas line is a really nice touch, too. I changed my fire place from log to fire glass. The burner works well as expected. There are quite a few reviews that are concerned about the whistling sounds when the gas is turned on. This also happened to this burner. But I found out that the sound only occurred at two particular times when I keep turned the gas valve from low to high. In order words, it should not be a problem because you can always turn the gas to a certain level to avoid this sound. ... show more

Needs better instructions. Explain the purpose of the flue clamp so people don't throw it out not understanding the need. I went to a fireplace store to understand what it is for. (In case of a gas leak so it will go out the flue rather than into your house). The picture is the finished look of the retro fit of a wood burning fireplace to gas. ... show more

I a thrilled with this gas insert! The price was exceptionally reasonable and the effect is perfect. I experience no whistling sounds as some have described in other reviews. Flames are beautiful and even. I love the yellow and blue combination of color. I filled my fireplace with black glass, 60 pounds worth, and I think the effect is perfect.
