This is a good produce. The downside is that the hoses and flare connections in the gas valve restrict the flow to less than optimal flow rates. I changed the flare connections on the gas valve to 5/8” from the supplied 1/2” and upsized the flexible hoses to flexible stainless steel 5/8”. My gas supply line underground is 3/4” to ensure enough gas supply for the 15ft run underground. Overall it turned out well. ... show more

Yo. This is a dope fire pit! I bought those cobblestones from Lowe’s - 12 to make a circle and it’s a perfect pit. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the gas lines on the mounting bracket are straight and it’s hard to not bend or strain them. I looked at others and they were in a u shape which makes more sense. Also - I hooked this up to a propane tank and I had to buy an adapter. Still - it’s a sweet setup and everyone ive shown is impressed! Press a button - boom, you got fire. Can’t beat it! ... show more

    • Have your plumber buy/use different gas lines that will allow for the most flow of gas.
The steel breaded whistle free flex hose does not have enough interior diameter to allow the flow of gas to burn at 275,000Btu. The push button igniter when screwed together with the valve housing constantly sparks, so the gap between the push button and battery is to tight. I had to unscrew the push button a little bit to so that it wouldn't constantly spark. ... show more

Doesn’t turn on immediately, ignition has the spark but takes around 1 minute to ignite fire after natural gas is released from the fire ring. I can smell gas before it lights up.
