I've already had a few good sessions on this stair stepper and I love it. It's actually really easy to set up, the resistance is good, and the monitor is handy to have. It's nice and compact so I can either leave it out or put it away when I'm done. It's a good way to get a little exercise while watching TV or whatever. I'm working on training to do some climbing next summer so it'll be great to have this option at home.

The media could not be loaded. It's a bit heavy. I like it as far as proformance but disappointed in the stability it rocks and I tried everything to stabilize it. While the compact nature of this machine is admirable, it really doesn't provide much resistance for cardio endurance. Also based on the up/down "sliding" nature of this machine, this means that when you are at the apex you are more likely to use your weight to "fall down" rather than push yourself up, ultimately making the cardio workout far easier than it should be. I was hoping this could be a decent at-home alternative to a stair-master, but unfortunately not. On the bright side, assembly was extremely straightforward, quick, and easy. I'd say it was easy enough to assemble even if you're missing the instruction manual. Also, it feels relatively sturdy with no wobble or bending when using the machine. The display has pretty limited tracking information, with the only useful statistic being time and total repetitions. The calorie counter feature is very generic/inaccurate, so you're better off using a fitness tracker for that kind of data. Maybe this could be used for a light cardio workout for women/elderly, but the price tag is honestly a bit hard to justify for that purpose.

Me and my wife started using this stair stepper a month ago and it’s been complementary to our workout routine. And while it’s not at the same level or quality as the stair master’s at my commercial gym, it certainly fills the gap when we can’t get to the gym for a class. As for performance, function and operations, the stair stepper will give your buttock (glutes), core, thighs and legs a good healthy cardio burn or what I like to refer to as muscle burn. I’ve noticed an increase in lower body strength and weight loss. The stair stepper movement feels natural- like climbing or running on the terrain during a mountain hike. The handlebars are comfortable, and the grip is easy to adjust. I thought the design was nice and the angling helps to keep my leg/knee movement synch. The stepper is sturdy, (great for a home model) and I haven’t any concerns about shifting or tilting over. The padding helps with slipping and it feels natural and secure. I thought the LED screen was a bit basic, but given the price, it’s acceptable to me and tracks my progress, which helps me stay motivated. Additional thought- I like the folding capability which has helped free up space in an already overcrowded office. The stepper is relatively light so moving for me is not a problem but maybe for others. My only concern was that the instruction could be improved! As for value, its comparable to averge cost stair stepper.
