where do i even start!!!! ever since switching from plastic to stainless steel, i've noticed plenty of good changes. there's less odor and it doesn't stink nearly as bad as the plastic litter box that soaked up everything! cleaning it is suuuuper easy. it's handy that the litter box has its own scoop and a designated space to hold it. to me it feels less dirty cleaning out of this box vs my old one. and when i deep clean it, it feels easier and less gross. nothing sticks to it and that's what i appreciate about the stainless steel. the overal quality of the box is great. it's very spacious for my young kitty, she has enough room to turn around and do whatever she needs to do. it holds a lot of litter and, even though it is pretty big, it fits perfectly in my small little bathroom in the corner. it's nice that the box also comes with a litter mat, and i already had one so now i can use two and its now twice as nice with minimal litter tracking! speaking of litter, the high sides of the box are nice with minimal litter spilling/being kicked out of the box. you can also REMOVE the sides of the box, so in case your kitty has a preference, you can add or take off the sides. overall im really happy with this litter box. it feels so much more hygenic and much better for myself and for my kitty, too! ... show more

Great clean litter box. The cost is worth it. Much easier to clean than plastic. Nice and large. A bigger cat would like it. The partial cover and litter mat help keep errant litter stay in the box. Best litter box I’ve ever owned. No channels or low areas that hinder an easy clean scoop. Excellent design and very good price. The stainless steel won’t absorb any moisture or smell. So many litter boxes are plastic and eventually the boxes have retained the smell and my cats would spend a long time trying to cover the urine and feces. I love this litter box. I got the XL size and it’s ginormous, but that’s exactly what I was wanting for my 3 kittens. I was worried it would be too big for my kittens to have, but I also knew I needed to upgrade to a bigger size and this turned out perfect. I love that it’s stainless steel, so it doesn’t hold odors like plastic ones do. Also, it is a great price compared to other stores like Walmart/Petsmart. Perfect height for cats and kittens. I have 2 cats, not that large in size, who appear to use these 2 stainless steel litter boxes with high sides with ease. With a low entry into the boxes, my cats have no problems stepping in and out of them; and the step with holes feature is nice for allowing litter that collects on the bottoms of their paws to drop down onto the mat below. I switched to this Stainless Steel Extra Large Litter Box because I was tired of plastic boxes absorbing odors no matter how often I scrubbed them. On the odor front, this thing is a game-changer. Since it’s metal, it doesn’t trap smells, and the high sides are a lifesaver for my big cat who tends to "aim high." Why I gave it 4 stars: While I love the functionality, the stainless steel is thinner than I expected. It has a bit of "flex" to it when you’re moving it around to clean, and it doesn't feel quite as heavy-duty as some other metal boxes I’ve seen. It’s still sturdy enough for daily use, but just be aware it isn't a thick, industrial-grade slab of steel. The Highlights: Size: Truly extra-large. My big cat has plenty of room to turn around without feeling cramped. Easy Cleaning: The non-stick surface makes scooping way faster. Wet litter doesn't weld itself to the bottom like it does on plastic. High Sides: The lid/shield combo actually stays in place and does a great job of preventing leaks and keeping litter from flying everywhere. If you’re looking to kill the "cat smell" in your house, this is 100% worth the upgrade. Just handle it with a little care since the metal is on the thinner side! ... show more

Really nice product. Well made and comes with useful accessories. It’s the perfect size. Topper should reduce all extra litter that usually finds its way outside of the box. I’ve never had a stainless box, but it should be a good change.
