This fit my filter basket perfectly.
My pool had been pulling in air for the longest time, I replaced the o-ring and it didn’t help. My old lid was dry rotted I guess with micro cracks, when I put the new lid and o-ring on the filter immediately primed itself with not even a single air bubble.

Good fit
Seams to work and seal well, however I used the old seal, fit better, wasn't a sloppy fit like the new one.

It works better than the original
Being clear Instead of black I can see if he water level is low or dirty. That is a big help. Also I no longer need to use the clamps.

Perfect fit on Hayward pump

Does not fit
This cover did not properly fit my super II even though it is supposedly the same part number. The lip that seats against the oring is missing

Great replacement to the OEM on Hayward RS1000
Screwed right into my Hayward RS1000 pump / filter. Preferable design to the OEM that is held down with screw clamps on the side, and for less than half the price.

bought per pump serial and model
shopped and shopped, bought item per pump make, model and serial, this lid did not fit, I bought it for my sister in the fall and of course we didn't try it until recently. my bad. so i gave it to my neighbor for his pool as a spare.
