Good material but metal base has too much sway and rocking for heavy weight use. Maybe it’s just me but I wouldn’t go really heavy. Also, be careful! The bench folds if you don’t use the locking pin - I didn’t see the hole. I was doing dumbbell pullovers and the bunch folded in when I went to place weight to my side (head of bench). The bench folded in and luckily the weight hit my wall and not my face. Make sure you use the center locking pin - that was a dumb move on my part. ... show more

I’ve been working on out and lifting for about 9 months so decided to add a bench to my home gym. This has worked well for me with the amount of weight i lift- typically no more than 2 25lb dumbbells. And if you’re looking to lift a lot heavier weight, maybe look into something a little more sturdier. I haven’t used the resistance bands. It is lightweight easy to move around which works great for me. I can tuck everything away when we have guests over and easily get it back out the next day ... show more

This bench is perfect! Light weight , easy to maneuver, and very sturdy. I am 5' 4" and I am able to put my feet flat on the ground while bench pressing, which makes it very comfortable.
