- Eyepiece AdjustmentAfter turning on the camera, ensure the display is set to the eyepiece (internal screen). If not, press the internal/external screen toggle key. In any mode, press the MENU key to enter the menu and check the clarity of the menu text. If it is blurry, adjust the eyepiece diopter adjustment wheel until the text is clear and press the MENU key again to exit the menu. Then, slowly turn the focus wheel according to the distance of the subject to focus until the image is clear.

This is a great addition to going to the range. I love the screen so everyone in the group can see the hits at the same time, and the screen brightness makes it super easy to see. I did need to adjust the shutoff timer to never since it was getting annoying having to turn it back on after 2 mins (default). I brought a power bank with me in case the battery died, but we used it for about 5 hours straight and it ran on its own the whole time. You do need a really solid tripod, if you're not using the one that came with it, since it has some weight to it. I didn't use the eye piece much at all since using the display just felt so much better. Speaking of the display, it would be cool if it rotated, but it's not a deal breaker. Lots of display options to get the image just right too. Just take a few minutes to go through them to tweak it before your session and you'll be happier for it. Super happy I got this.

This comes labeled as an astronomical telescope on the box, but it is not a telescope in the optical sense. It is a digital spotting scope with a built in screen and even the eyepiece is just another display. For actual astronomy this will not do anything useful. For daytime use it works well and at the shooting range it is extremely helpful. The screen makes it easy to see every hit without having to lean into the diopter or get up from the bench. I can glance at the screen and instantly see where the shot landed which makes sighting in faster. Ease of use is a strong point since everything on it is simple and the menu is straightforward. The tripod is decent and holds the unit steady. It is not a high end tripod but stability is good once everything is tightened down. Value for the money is fair, considering you get a digital display, the ability to take photos or videos, and support for micro SD cards up to 512GB. As long as you buy this for daytime spotting and not astronomy it performs well and makes range sessions a lot easier.

This spotting scope was easy to set up. It does require a micro SD for it to work lucky for me I had one layoung around. The quality is pretty good and it is easy to use so no complaints there. The price is a little bit higher so not sure it aligns with what this is
