  • Awesome night vision and range finding scope
The scope works surprisingly well at night, and the build-in range finder already been tested ranging out over 800yds, the lag on imaging is not noticeable, and night vision mode works pretty well. As seen in the video, it's a water tower at night 350yd away. Initial phone app setup took sometime but once wifi is connected everything worked out easily. Came with 2 batteries and each lasts 5-6 hours of usage, built-in 64gb storage also more than enough. Great scope overall! ... show more

  • Good scope with numerous features
Excellent scope that truly functions as both a day and night optic. The integrated laser rangefinder and ballistic calculator are excellent features, and the scope is easy to zero. Overall, it offers impressive capabilities at a very competitive price. However, a few observations are worth sharing… The night mode performs very well, but its effective range is limited by the lack of an integral infrared illumination. Beyond approximately 70 yards, an external IR illuminator is required. At 200 yards, that illuminator needs to be both powerful and focusable to provide a usable image without whiteouts. On my unit, the laser rangefinder aiming box is located below and to the left of the crosshair. Depending on the terrain and the target, this can result in the rangefinder measuring an object other than the intended point of aim (a branch for instance), potentially leading to an incorrect ballistic solution. Adding shims under the rear scope mount did not correct this issue. Watch the resolution. 4K is clearer, 1080 is faster but magnification is limited to 12X. I mention these observations because they are not described in the owner’s manual, and they caused considerable confusion during my first outings. Be prepared to spend a few hours at the range learning how the scope functions. Start at 50 yards, then progress to 100, 200, and beyond. Bring spare batteries. This is a digital day/night scope, not a conventional optical scope, and it takes time and practice to become proficient with it, especially in complete darkness. ... show more

  • bright view in very low light condition 👍
Pros: 4k resolution. Super bright view in low light condition. No need for illuminator. Sleek design and light weight. Solid built and easy to zero. Cons: battery compartment sign can be more implicit regarding polarity. I almost plugged the battery in reversed. Luckily I decided to flip the user manual before I capped it. ... show more

  • The best 4K scope on the market
I’ve been running the Zulus 4K for about a month now and it has honestly impressed me. The 4K image is very sharp, which really helps when trying to identify animals and pick a precise aiming point. The 3–24x magnification gives you a lot of flexibility. I usually keep it lower for a wider field of view, but it’s nice having the extra magnification when you want to reach out. The traditional 30mm scope body is another big plus because it mounts and handles like a normal riflescope instead of feeling like a bulky gadget. The ballistic calculator is also more useful than I expected. Once it’s set up, it makes longer shots a lot more straightforward and gives you confidence in your hold. What really surprised me though is the value. When you start looking at other optics with similar features, the prices just don’t make sense. The Zulus 4K gives you the performance, image quality, and features without the crazy price tag. For hunters wanting to get into digital optics, this one is definitely worth a look. ... show more

  • Limited to 30 MOA of elevation travel from mechanical zero/optical center
According to DNT, the elevation travel for this scope is 60 MOA. Anyone with a ballistic calculator will know that means it's range is under 200 yards for 22LR with standard velocity ammo and without a canted rail. 650 yards or less for 5.56. It is not a long range scope and does not claim to be, but you should know the optimal range for your scope with the intended cartridge you plan to use with it. Even though this is a digital scope and most people will be doing fewer ballistic calculations with it, DNT should add it's MOA elevation travel range equivalence in it's specs so shooters know it's limitations even if the elevation range is adequate for a majority of shooters. I was going to purchase this scope for 22LR and I had to reach out to DNT for more information that would normally be immediately advertised by any other scope company's list of specs as a critical standard of measure in an optic. This scope should not be mounted on a 22LR you intend to use past 200 yards without a canted rail or without high velocity ammo. ... show more

  • Not returnable to Amazon.
If it does not function right out of the box it’s going to be a minimum of 10-14 days before you’ll be notified of what DNT is going to with it. I charged the included batteries, installed one in the scope ,paired it with my phone, played with the zoom outside, walked inside and the unit was locked up with two icons on the screen. Nothing would reset it do loosened the battery cover, it shut off. From then on nothing would make it turn on. Called customer support, their response was to fill out the warranty request and send it back to them. I’d rather return it to Amazon and have them send me a new unit. That’s not a part of their protocol. I own two other DNT scopes. Never needed customer support. I’m disappointed with their response. ... show more

  • Night vision??? AR-15 fit??? Need to download an APP
Not really night vision. You have to buy an IR device and add to the scope to see anything at night. Sets to low on an AR-15 so you need to buy another mount that raises the scope higher. You need a Damn APP also, I hate Apps. I returned IT.
