I’ve been running the Zulus 4K for about a month now and it has honestly impressed me. The 4K image is very sharp, which really helps when trying to identify animals and pick a precise aiming point. The 3–24x magnification gives you a lot of flexibility. I usually keep it lower for a wider field of view, but it’s nice having the extra magnification when you want to reach out. The traditional 30mm scope body is another big plus because it mounts and handles like a normal riflescope instead of feeling like a bulky gadget. The ballistic calculator is also more useful than I expected. Once it’s set up, it makes longer shots a lot more straightforward and gives you confidence in your hold. What really surprised me though is the value. When you start looking at other optics with similar features, the prices just don’t make sense. The Zulus 4K gives you the performance, image quality, and features without the crazy price tag. For hunters wanting to get into digital optics, this one is definitely worth a look.

4.5 Stars from me. I do owe DNT Zulus V2 with IR and DRF. I'm not sure why this scope cost $150 more....? They claim it has night vision, and yes you can see in dark, but no IR torch on it. So Night vision is better on Zulus V2. Both scopes have fairly nice clear view. I don't see any improvements on pic. quality on Zulus 4k. It's about same. It does have magnification 3-24 vs 5-20 but those 4X do nothing just worst pixels. My personal opinion is, only difference between two, 4k looks more like a classic scope vs V2 looks more like military thermal/night vision type. If I had a chance to test it before purchase, I would buy second V2 instead.

The scope works surprisingly well at night, and the build-in range finder already been tested ranging out over 800yds, the lag on imaging is not noticeable, and night vision mode works pretty well. As seen in the video, it's a water tower at night 350yd away. Initial phone app setup took sometime but once wifi is connected everything worked out easily. Came with 2 batteries and each lasts 5-6 hours of usage, built-in 64gb storage also more than enough. Great scope overall!

According to DNT, the elevation travel for this scope is 60 MOA. Anyone with a ballistic calculator will know that means it's range is under 200 yards for 22LR with standard velocity ammo and without a canted rail. 650 yards or less for 5.56. It is not a long range scope and does not claim to be, but you should know the optimal range for your scope with the intended cartridge you plan to use with it. Even though this is a digital scope and most people will be doing fewer ballistic calculations with it, DNT should add it's MOA elevation travel range equivalence in it's specs so shooters know it's limitations even if the elevation range is adequate for a majority of shooters. I was going to purchase this scope for 22LR and I had to reach out to DNT for more information that would normally be immediately advertised by any other scope company's list of specs as a critical standard of measure in an optic. This scope should not be mounted on a 22LR you intend to use past 200 yards without a canted rail or without high velocity ammo.

Pros: 4k resolution. Super bright view in low light condition. No need for illuminator. Sleek design and light weight. Solid built and easy to zero. Cons: battery compartment sign can be more implicit regarding polarity. I almost plugged the battery in reversed. Luckily I decided to flip the user manual before I capped it.

This digital scope is awesome. Bought it for hog hunting, night mode/low light works great. It has way some many features that beyond my expectation.

The scope works hard for the money but the manual left me looking for third party info. First of all you have to understand that this is a sub $1,000 scope, Not a piece of kit for Seal Team 6! If you are expecting the image to rival a decent glass scope you will be very disappointed. It is however, quite adequate for short-medium range twilight varmit control and plinking fun. My personal issue is the meandering path to complete straight forward tasks. Just to zero the scope took a large number of steps that was frustrating until I had done it several times. The same for using the LRF for automating hold over. Long press this button, short press that button, twist that dial............. And, as is noted in several reviews, adjusting the focus knob needs almost both hands. A lever attachment might help there if anyone knows a source. For the really good stuff. I love the digital X/Y leveling scale. And with a good illuminator the night vision is almost as good as the day image. Bottom line. This is a great toy that is a lot of fun to play with but it will not beat good glass for serious use.
