This Louisville Ladder 16 feet fiberglass extension ladder has a 375 lbs. load capacity, rated ANSI IAA Type. This extension ladder is great for working on electrical, utility, light construction and residential jobs. It features D shaped rungs that are fully serrated for a slip resistant surface. Includes two extra heavy-duty slide guides to prevent over extending the extension ladder. Equipped with the MAXLOCK rung lock, engineered to be the strongest, toughest, lightest rung lock ever made for extension ladders. This extension ladder also includes the patented QuickLatch system that provides a simple, intuitive method of securing the ladder when extended. Features wivel safety shoes with overmolded polymer tread that be used with the tread down or in spike position. I needed a ladder to access my attic. The trapdoor is in the garage, and the ceiling height is a shade over 11 feet. At a height of 13' fully extended, this little ladder is just the ticket. I must admit I was unfamiliar with Louisville Ladder Company, but it looks suspiciously like a Werner product. Same "D" shaped rungs and rung attachment method. Dunno if Louisville Ladder and Werner have any connection, but I'm impressed with this product. At any rate, this is a well made ladder and a very handy size. I have a 24' ladder, but it's kind of a PITA and for most jobs I don't need 20' of ladder. 13' gets me up into the attic and up on my roof - where I go twice a year to blow out my gutters. Something tells me that me and this little ladder are going to be best buds. ;-) ... show more

Ladder is stable when climbing. I am 68 years old, the ladder is s bit heavy for me but I can manage it if I am careful. For a younger stronger person this ladder would work great. Overall good quality

Nice, high-quality ladder for most uses around the house. I used it quite a bit at full extension and had no issues with it. I weigh around 270 lb. and felt fairly secure.

Have been using this for a few months now & so far it has been a solid ladder. The construction seems solid, the weight isn’t too bad, even for frail people in our household. I was worried about the plastic joins from the reviews but seeing them in person, they seem pretty solid. The largest person to use it was about 200 lbs carrying several heavy boards, but there was no creaking or sign of flimsiness at the time. The feet seem pretty stable. I think as long as people exercise safe ladder protocol & don’t get a defective unit, this should be a great ladder. I can’t vouch for their QA broadly but at least for our part, it seems like we got a great ladder for a competitive price (given the current inflated state of things). Recommended. ... show more

Great ladder and really pleased with the purchase. Everybody knows how UPS is pretty rough with their handling of your Amazon orders. So just sharing a photo of the damage that was done during transport via UPS. The hit mark on the box was also visible. I don’t think it compromises the integrity of the ladder, but still.
