Designed with concealed carry and everyday use in mind, both delivers dependable performance in a streamlined and lightweight form factor. 407K-X2 features a crisp 6 MOA dot while 507K-X2 features 2MOA/32MOA Circle Dot powered by Holosun’s efficient Super LED, offering up to 50,000 hours of battery life on setting 6. Shake Awake technology conserves battery by powering the sight on with motion and turning it off when idle. Lock Mode—first introduced in Holosun's law enforcement models—prevents accidental changes to settings, making it an excellent choice for defensive carry. The "K" series is built with a rugged 7075-T6 aluminum housing and is IP67 waterproof-rated for durability in harsh conditions. It includes a side-mounted battery tray for quick and easy replacement of the CR1632 battery without removing the sight. Got this a few years ago in 2022. It's been on my daily driver since then. Been great. Only had to change the battery 2 times, maybe 3 times. Idk super great battery life. Regardless of the great stuff above, I don't know if they rate is as water proof or not but I went went fishing with a friend and our two boys. And the boys being boys decided to go for a swim. One started having issues the other tried to help and they both started drowning. I jumped in and grabbed them not even thinking about my boomstick. Did a quick shake and blow off of everything and even after getting it home and cleaning it well the sight still works just as good as before! Ive smacked it into solid things before and it's got dings in the frame but it's still sturdy solid! Won't be buying any other sight brands. ... show more

Incredibly happy with this purchase. The reticle is the perfect size for me, and is typically very clear, although it does tend to blur very slightly at times. It's also very easy to adjust the zero, and it holds zero without issue so far. The brightness settings allow for a perfect level day or night. This optic also fits a Sig P365 X-Macro Tacops absolutely perfectly, which was a concern of mine due to the thin build of the weapon. The price tag might deter some people, but you can't put a price on feeling confident in your ability to protect your life or the lives of others should that unfortunate situation ever arise. With all of this said, the most important thing you can do as a gun owner is to ensure that you and anyone who will have access to the weapon is educated, trained, and stays in practice. Throwing an optic on a weapon does not make you John Wick. In fact, it takes more practice to become proficient with an optic that it does with irons. These are a must for those of us who wear glasses, increased my accuracy by 100%, 10 for 10 bullseyes on paper targets and the same for metal targets from 8 to 50 yards and beyond, expensive but worth every penny. High quality, great features, brightness adjustment is excellent, easy to mount, (use a torque wrench) and very simple to adjust with the help of a bore sight laser unit. ... show more

Actually, I have the green dot. I love the shake-awake which means I can leave it turned on. When the battery finally does go, I like that the battery can be replaced without removing the unit. It was much easier to center than my old sight. It even comes with a tool to install and adjust.

I was wrong about the item being defected. Ended up being a user error on my part. Didn’t let it adjust/focus in a well lighted and spacious area. And I do have an eye astigmatism. Never got to use it sadly but it was nice to get my hopes up lol.

Good overall. The green is easier for old eyes to pickup both in low light conditions as well as bright sunlight. The only downside is that it shows as a direct fit for the BUL Armory Ultralight {the weapon that I mounted it on} and while it does come with the mounting plate, it does need a plate rather than directly mounting. But the major issue is that the screws that come with it are not the correct size->. Screws are available thru third parties, but for something listed as a "direct fit", the screws should corrrect. ... show more

I installed the HE507K-GR X2 Green Dot site in the milled slide of my CZP01 and over several weeks put almost 1000 rounds through it. The site always holds zero, and the dot is always there. I own Trijicon RMRs, and an Aimpoint H1 red dots, but wanted to try the Holosun green dot. My eyes are getting older and the red dots flare a bit too much, but the green dot is much easier on the eyes with very little flare. This is a quality optic at a good price. I did have one issue with the battery tray screw that sheared off inside the optic while I was shooting. I contacted Holosun support and they had me send it back. They ended up replacing it at no cost and said it was not a common issue. I actually bought another one before I sent it back for repair, since I assumed it would be at Holosun for months. However, turn around time was only 3 weeks, which was unexpected! I highly recommend! ... show more
