This will be a review for this item that will suggest a different way to use the product. I am 75 years old and have had severe high blood pressure for years. I also have violent reactions to beta blockers. This means I have to be very careful in my life choices. I have really felt the need to exercise. Just walking around my house slowly, and for a short time, is no longer working. So as I researched alternative methods of exercise, I decided on this stepper. Upon receiving it, I realized on the first use it was not what I needed. The following morning when I came out of our bedroom my husband had put the stepper on our kitchen counter top. He told me to place my arms onto the pedals and push down slowly. My arms are the exact length of the pedals. My husband put the tension on the lowest setting. I could push the pedals down slowly. It only took 2 pushes each arm and the blood pressure was high enough that I needed to stop. HOWEVER.....because of the location, I can use it frequently during the day. My blood pressure has dropped. I can do more. Now I understand that you can not publish this review, because I have used the stepper in a manner that you can not suggest for safety purposes. BUT...I want to thank you for this marvelous stepper. It has given me a new hope for a horrible health issue in my life.

Received the stepper today and I have to say it exceeded my expectations. It was already put together when it arrived. All that was needed was to turn on the counter and hook the tension straps to it. Once everything was on and ready to go it was all a matter of stepping on and starting. Very sturdy once I took that first step. I am 260lbs and it did not make me feel like I was going to break it. Was a solid machine and very easy to use. There was great tension and I was not worried about falling over or the machine moving on me. Was originally on the fence before but glad I took the plunge and bought it. Highly recommend this piece of equipment.

I'm impressed with how sturdy this is, I have been using it regularly for a while now and haven't had any issues. The handles are easy to attach, they just clip on and off. I didn't use them at first, but I recommend using them. They give me more balance and help to make my posture better while using.

This is the perfect item for small NYC living spaces and it's one of those products that does not overwhelm you but rather "invites" you to do quick Tabata style workouts without dread. Also, customer service is amazing!!!

It’s perfect for those who work from home or otherwise don’t get enough steps in their days. It works as described, came ready-to-use right out of the box (except you’d have to attach the resistance cords if you want to use them). I can take a 5-10 min break in between meetings and get some steps in. I can also watch tv or listen to music while getting a longer workout. After a couple of weeks, it started to squeak, otherwise I’d have given it five stars.

It’s great. I’ve had for maybe a month or so and it’s great so far. It works and does it’s job. It squeaks sometimes though but since I’m at home and not anywhere public with it it’s fine.
