I purchased one for myself but gave to my husband, while I used another Brand Stepper that turned to be junk. One thing, I didn't like about it ,also the reason, I gave it to my husband to use. I'm clumsy AF with weak ankles with fractured foot. The Step Peddles rises are sorta high for my tendencies to trip etc. Rise at the back paddle and sides seems unnecessary . However, This annoyance with the peddle design. It doesn't interfere with operation and its effectiveness. My husband enjoyed it. After my Stepper with another Company was total purchase failure . Another reason for 4 stars. Amazon Reps told me they can price match on 2 second purchase to replace the junk stepper , I tried for days and wks. Total waste of time and effort. I contacted the Seller to inquire about any upcoming identical sales. next sale that would've put me at price match on second purchase was supposedly set for Oct. Seller wasn't willing to help me with price match. Ok No problem. I waited for coupon and sale to put me closer to the price, I paid for the 1st purchase. I needed the Stepper ASAP. I used Amazon Prime it took a few days to UPS deliver . So far , so good with the Steppers. I do love the motion or operational design. That semi twist motion feels like I working harder than just using a standard compact Stepper. I feel like , I'm definitely getting more out this Stepper model . I just have to pay closer attention while stepping off. so, I do not trip off the rises on the peddles as I'm stepping off the Stepper to avoid tripping and falling. I'm also getting 3rd Stepper but different less expensive model for travels and working out in hotel rooms. The monitors are inaccurate. Its minor and doesn't incompact a good workout on this model. My advice be patient . Do your research. if uncomfortable with paying full retail prices. This Seller does have random sales with Coupons that varies from $20-$40 off on their Steppers. Example my first purchase was under $90 with taxes. If you easily lose balance don't forget about the peddles designs, look at images here to make sure its manageable for your physical fitness situations. Going off other reviews. When my husband returns from work trip. I have him reinspect steppers for any components like bolts etc. Making sure its secure and safe for use.     • stury, well built but low resistance

I bought the model with bands. Digital display basically useless as it goes on and off. Very sturdy, quiet and well built. I am returning after 2 days with intermittent 5 minute stepping. The resistance is not strong enough and I feel, after a couple of weeks use it would not be beneficial to me. I am 82, walk daily and attend 3 senior exercise/balance classes weekly. This is good for someone who does not exercise too much. The twisting side to side motion is good. I have decent balance but did not feel too steady using the bands at first..would come with time. I placed behind a chair so I could hold on while using. Be careful of using bands if your balance is not good. For reference I am 5 ft 7, 107 lbs. so I think it would have probably lasted me a fairly long time. I would have kept it if there were options to increase the resistance and perhaps increase the step height. These mini steppers can only accomplish so much for the price point. Out of all the hundreds I looked at online this seemed to be the best...it does not slide around because of its weight. ... show more

Perfect size to store and move around. I like it because it doesn’t take much room in my living room so when I’m watching tv I do some steps. I put it to high resistance with the dial at the bottom and wow did I feel it. My boyfriend and I have been using it and we’ve been competing to see who can do more because it’s tough. I don’t really have sore legs the next day but as I’m doing my legs are sore (great workout sore) and I’m sweating. It was cheaper than a treadmill and I’m doing it to build my stamina since I work from home and never workout. It’s sturdy. I have small weights so while I’m stepping I am also doing arm work outs and it’s been really helping get active. ... show more

At my age I am slowly loosing muscle. You just don't exercise as I did years ago. I thought I needed something that was convenient in my home that I could use daily and not just let it accumulate dust. This is the answer. I built it, so easy, even for a woman. I keep it where I see it and know it's there. I use it daily, building up slowly but I feel the strength in my legs and arms returning. It's a quick way to get those muscles going again without running to a gym. It's very well built....love the handles with my age I love the balance I have with this set. I love this little machine so much!! An absolute game-changer for working out at home. As a 338lb person, it is nearly impossible for me to find workout equipment that can accommodate my weight and size. Even full-size treadmills/ellipticals don't usually have a high enough weight capacity. I thought for sure these mini machines would never work for me. But this one really does! Even though it says it has a 330lb weight capacity, I was super nervous I would break it, but it holds my weight so well! It's so sturdy and I really trust it, even when doing more high-intensity sprints on it. I also use it on carpet and it doesn't teeter at all. I was also originally nervous my thick thighs would be an issue, but it's not at all. This stepper is so comfortable to use! I also provided a pic with my foot on it for scale. I wear a US women's size 11-12 shoe (I got big feet 😆) and there is more than enough width and length on the foot pads to fit my feet, even if I had shoes on. I work a desk job from home, and I love to have this at my standing desk so I can walk/sprint while I work. And even though this thing supports such a high weight capacity, it's surprisingly lightweight and very easy to move around your house or store away when not in use.
