**Updated review** So, the manufacturer promises a 30 warranty, but thankfully, the return window from Amazon is 90 days. I was allowed to return my original purchase and get a replacement at no extra cost. The process was super simple and convenient. Since getting the new stepper I have absolutely zero complaints. It's stable, quiet, and provides me with the 45 minutes of cardio I need daily. Like all machines it requires a small amount of maintenance, but for how much I use it I consider that totally reasonable. Also, the company itself is very responsive to concerns and questions and seems more than happy to work with their customers to ensure their product is working optimally (they sent me an email asking how they could help when they saw my original 3 star review). All in all, this has turned out to be an excellent addition to my in home workout regiment and well worth the money I spent. **** The design of this product is much better than many that are out there and feels much more sturdy in use. This was the second stepper I bought after the first one I purchased began squeaking loudly and ultimately falling apart after only three months of use. Originally, I loved this machine. I was able to go from a 25 minute workout 4 days a week to 45 minutes 7 days a week no problem and it really helped replace my normal outdoor activities. However, just a few months in and once again, the intolerable squeaking. And not just a small sound you’d accept and expect from a machine like this, but a sound so loud I’m actually worried the neighbors in the downstairs apartment can hear it. I’m now relegated to exercising with my headphones on full volume to cancel the sound out for myself and hope that the area rug in my living room is thick enough so the sound isn’t going downstairs. And I think this should go for anyone buying any home exercise equipment: Check immediately at all moving parts and screws for fit. If something is missing or seems off, send it back right away. I should’ve done that with this stepper as I’ve now noticed one of the allen screws that holds the right back end of the peddle in place was screwed in crooked and then glued in place. It creates just enough space for that peddle to loosen and I now have to tighten the two other screws on the bottom after every workout which, btw, are not terribly easy to get to and I’m sure will strip fairly soon. It could’ve been a great machine, and maybe for those who got one that was assembled with 100% accuracy, it is, but I’m left somewhat dissatisfied after spending $100 and getting just over 2 months of use on it. ... show more

Well built, takes up very little space, portable and easy to move, makes it so easy to get some beneficial exercise into the day, will accumulate steps and time throughout the day - press and hold the button to reset to zero. Only regret is not buying this sooner.

It’s a nice at home product and great to add to your workout, I use it on my rest days from the gym. However, resistance is not TOO strong and does heat up quickly. I didn’t feel safe going past 15-17 minutes because the hydraulics heat up and for safety, should let it cool down. The movement is great and moves naturally, & for me it also felt best to be fully bearfoot/no socks on. Great product for what it is and great for a smaller space! If you hold the handles up while stepping, you can feel it in your core more but maybe that’s just myself. Can definitely get a quick workout in and more if you add holding weights while stepping :) ... show more

I am 70 years old and found an awesome machine. I have bad knees and am hoping with daily use, I can strengthen them. I can only do 5 minutes right now, but plan to work up to 15-20 minutes. It was easy to assemble. Only wish I could lighten the tension. I still love it. Plan to use it daily.

I did quite a few research reading reviews on different high rated products. I ended up deciding to go with sports royals. I really liked the idea of stepper going side to side. It has resistance, I read some reviewers didn’t like that it has no option to increase the resistance. For me it’s fine I could I could just increase the time. Or go at a faster pace. Believe me it gives a pretty good workout in the thighs and legs. So far I’ve been doing for about 30 minutes a day. Also, tried out the arm bands. They work great. Timer is working good for now. I know some people mentioned it stopping working over time. If you’re concerned about timer. You could always purchase the warranty it’s not that much. I always use my Apple Watch for my workouts. Also purchased and weights to use with this. There is really no assembly so that was great comes ready to use. You just have to put batteries in timer and set in the place it goes. It’s super easy. If you want to use the arm bands they are just a simple clip on and that’s it! I give it 5 stars! Happy with my decision. Love it! ... show more

The stepper is a good workout but very displeased the monitor doesn’t work. Update-monitor now works. The battery the company sent was bad.
