Easy to assemble although the directions are horrible. If it's too hard to pull, you can loosen the factory assemble parts so it can putt easier. Great for tall people too. I'm almost 6 feet tall and the seat slides back for me to get maximum workout.

Only Reason I Couldn't Give It A 5 Star is, Because The Main Middle Frame bar Could be about 7-10 inches longer Because I'm around 5'9 and when doing a full motion Row The Bottom Hits The Back and it can be annoying and even though if you improvise it'll work for a good Leg, Core And Arms Workout Better Than The More Expensive Row Machines! If You Can Get like 3 to five Miles On this Row Machine The More Expensive One's Will Be Easier to Get Farther Distance Quicker and Rowing In The Water The Full Body Strength When Done Properly Should Be Easier! ... show more

It's a rowing machine, and I use it for that. As another reviewer pointed out, it does sit on the ground, so keep that in mind if you are looking to purchase. Otherwise, it's a good beginner rowing machine, for a reasonable price.

Fairly well designed unit, shocks are well tuned, packed well, easy assembly. I think if you are on the shorter side the arms might be a bit long. One thing, the seat could use better padding.

So I have been looking for a rowing machine for a while and I chose this one for how basic it is and good price. I read the reviews on Amazon and other sites and it seemed ok. I have to say that it is true the welds are absolute crap. I will be taking it to a shop to be re-welded. Kinda a bummer but I figured if I returned it I would just get another one with the same crappy welds... ... show more
