Always a great dye for color and coverage, but obviously it stains my counters, tub and floors horrendously, though I think this is my fault for being a messy applicator. Worked pretty good on my dark brown roots, and extremely vibrant on my bleached sections. The dye applies kind of like a conditioner and is easy to run your fingers through your hair for even coverage. It is a little slippery so it's easy to make a mess. Purchased this to do a red overtone to my daughter long dark brown hair. It turned out amazing and has lasted months so far. Of course with any reds it has lightened with time, but has lasted months way longer than any salon product we’ve paid to have applied. It’s really good, stains really bad so be careful when you’re applying it , don’t let it get on any surfaces. Use petroleum around your hair line n from your wrist to your elbows cause it stains really bad . You’ll need like 3 pairs of gloves too

Love the color it makes over dark brown hair. BUT holy cow does it stain your skin and tops, even when hair is dry. If it didn’t bleed color so heavily it would be better. I’m sticking to L’Oréal Fiera or professional grade products next time.

My hair is naturally very dark brown (…and now with some silver). I decided I wanted some fun color so I got this. I left it on about 10 minutes longer than recommended and it turned out great! The brown got to a beautiful henna color and the silver a shiny gorgeous red-pink. It’s been about two weeks and I wash my hair every other day and it’s definitely faded some, but it has surprisingly lasted a lot longer than I’d anticipated. Warning, though, everyone who says it stains is totally right. I’m a hot mess with paint-like materials and really should have done this in the basement, lol I managed to stain my bathroom sink and rug and it is not coming out.
