Splat never seems to fail with the vibrant pop of color. However the pink did fade pretty quick (after about 5 washes) and I wash my hair about 2 times in a week. However if you buy color safe shampoo it would most likely last longer :)

I’ve been using splat for a couple years and I have never had it stain anything. I tried it off of Amazon because Walmart didn’t have it in stock and this one has stained EVERYTHING! My nails are purple, my back is purple and my shower is purple. I washed it until there was no purple water and after I got out, it’s chalky and my dry hair is turning things purple. I thought I’d try it from Amazon because I didn’t want to pay the shipping fee. Never again. I will now pay the shipping. ... show more

Yes, it is easy to use (no mixing, just shake and apply), the color is pretty rich even after a week or two, and smells pretty nice but it takes forever to rinse out. I rinsed and rinsed and even after 2 weeks, when I shampoo - I make blue suds. I'm too scared to sleep on my linen pillow cases, and the neck of my sweatshirt is blue, and I only use a blue towel. My skin did turn blue but mostly washed off after a day or so (though I suspect the back of my neck was slightly blueish for over a week, fortunately there is nowhere to go an no one to really see it these days). Though I do feel like a marvelous mermaid. I'm not sure I would use this product again. Too much to negotiate. ... show more

I have pretty long and thick hair so I always have to buy 2 or 3 packs of hair dye to cover it entirely. But this bottle was enough for ALL my hair and I even had some left over! However, this is a temporary hair dye so don't be surprised when your towels, pillow, and shower turn purple. The longer you dying your hair with it, the longer it will stay. Since I have a lot of hair, it took me at least 15 minutes to cover it with the hair dye. I left the dye on my hair for 1 hr after i finished. As a result, the hair strands I dyed first have retained a very rich color for 3 months, regardless of the amount of washes. On the contrary, the hair roots that I dyed last had lost color after just 2 washes. Anyways, I love the look despite the flaws. P. S. The picture is taken after 3 washes. ... show more
