If you have a front load machine, you need this. No longer banging around with the door swinging wildly. No longer cleaning mildew off the seal when someone leaves the door closed after a load or the door accidentally getting shut. It props the door open but holds it securely. The base is a strong magnet and the stick is bendable but I bent it into a similar shape to what was advertised. It works.
