Absolutely recommend a Hydrolic top link - it will simplify your tractoring days. I noticed from other similar products others commented the pivot socket where the pin connects to the rear of the tractor for some model tractors required the socket eye to be ground down on each side to fit within the bracket/clevis of certain tractors. I have a 2024 Kioti CK4020SE HST and needed to take down each side of the socket eye with a belt sander (Only took a few minutes - go slow and only take off enough to clear your clevis) in order to get this to fit. Once done it fits well and functions as expected. On an estimate I removed 1/16" from each side of the socket Eye on the end attaching to the tractor clevis. I did not have to touch the extension eye connecting to the implements. I attached the fixed eye to the tractor.

Good solid cylinder, only had to buy adapters to fit the hose connection ends x 3/8 npt for couplers. Price is good. I tried to add a picture, didn't work on this review.

Hooked everything up and cylinder would extend but not retract. Tried flipped the hoses around,and no change. Tore cylinder check valve block apart and noticed the check valve plunger that goes back and forth wasn't the same size on each end. One side was 0.40 shorter,so it wasn't engaging the check valve correctly. I added a bead of weld and ground down to match the other side. It worked great after that. So be cautious of that.

No vendor selling hydraulic top links define what style quick connect fitting is included. It is frustrating to receive a unit, then have to take the included hoses to have a new fitting crimped on for an additional $130. It comes with a DIN 20mm fitting on the hose, and what seems to be an ISO 7241-1A Series 1/2" quick connect male. I now realize the tractor hydraulics are set up for the ISO 5645 AG Series quick connect with a 3/8" fitting that has NPT threads. If the description more accurately described the quick connector style it would save quite a bit of cost and additional hassle. (granted, I presumed the connector would be correct) I may return this unit once I have determined the total cost of retrofitting it to fit my application. Have attempted to contact the seller, waiting for a response. Update: No response from vendor after a few days. Paid the ransom at the local auto parts store to fix the hoses. Unit works as a hydraulic link. Plan on spending more money to make it work unless your application just happens to have the fittings matching those on the hose.

I’m on my second cylinder in a week, both cylinders failed to extend, confirmed that the fault in both is the check-valve, removed the check valve and the cylinder operates properly. I wonder how many it will take before I get one that works! I only need one that works. Perhaps if they would send a half a dozen check valves I could find one that works. Duane Gamm
