After about a month of shopping around I decided to go with this product. I had read the customer reviews and it kinda put me off about it but I wanted to see for myself just what it could do. Hands down I love it. I installed it on my 2007 Ram with the 4.7L and the instalation wasnt really too hard. After about 45 minutes of work and a lil muscle it was on. One problem I did note is that after instalation your unable to plug in your IAT sensor. This did trip a code on the engine but after a little splicing of wires and unplugging the battery for thirty seconds the code was cleared and it ran great. There is a nice increase in power especially at high RPMs and I love the new deep throaty sound it produces when accelerating or at cruising. My truck sounded good already with my Thrush tube muffler but this boosted the sound significantly. Recieved a good increase in MPG as well as long as you can keep your foot off the throttle. If you dont mind a lil modification to your IAT and using a lil muscle during instalation Id deffinately suggest this product for you, it'll make your Dodge scream. ... show more

I would love to give 5 stars because it's a super value for the money. I ordered a used one because I'm cheap and always try and find a better deal and I found one because they sent me one that I believe to be brand new. Still in the plastic with absolutely no sign of wear at all. Took about 45 min to install. Wouldn't been done in about 20-25 min but it took me awhile to get the sensor into the hole. Instructions could have been a bit more detailed but I managed to get by with what they sent. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the box is about a quarter of an inch to tall. Doesn't sound like a big deal but it makes my hood barely latch. Took a drive around the block and instantly notice a difference in take off speed. Not sure on the mpg gain but just the acceleration gain makes it worth the money. I would recommend this product to anybody. ... show more

I absolutely love this. Great deep sound. Looks good. Noticeable throttle response. Worth the money for sure. Only thing that bugged me is the rubber grommet for the temperature sensor was too small. Took alittle modification but other then that was super easy to install.

I ordered this for my 08 ram 2500 with a Hemi. This thing sucked. Very cheap and hard to install. It doesn't fit the Hemi. I can see how they might think it will fit. But it's not like the better engineered products. Stick with them i thought this was a good idea going to spectre and saving a couple of bucks. Don't do it spend a little more and get something that is built right and not cheaply. ... show more

Purchased for my 2004 4.7 1500 and it meets all expectations for a CAI. Perfect fit, no adaptions, easy installation and great results, maybe 1.something mpg increase and I can drive more spirited and get the same mpg I was getting babying my truck, high end pick up greatly improved, no noticeable low end gains. I installed this just over a year and a half ago and today I was checking my oil and noticed the entire rubber seal where the filter met the box had broken apart completely. I do not know how long the filter has just been sitting in the box with a gaping hole going into my engine unfiltered.

I just received my intake and installed it. It's better than I expected and is great. The deep throaty sound that my hemi makes now is intimidating! Also, it included a throttle body spacer that I wasn't expecting and now I don't have to buy one. This is a great deal for the money. It has increased both mileage and HP.
