I did not expect this space heater to last a lifetime but, I expected it to last more than 6 weeks! It started to smoke, so we unplugged it. It died 2 weeks after the return window closed.

I have two small space heaters for the cold rooms in my house. Both heat up well but take such a long time to warm the room. Then I saw this heater. Out of the box, it's larger than I expected - a pleasant surprise. The remote does not come with a battery so I had to order one for the remote. But the touch features on the heater itself were fine. And they are not buttons, it's touch-sensitive which is really cool. On plugging it into the wall, the digital display showed 65 degrees and there was a blast of heat that felt so good. After only five minutes, my 9 x 12 office space is feeling warm. I increased the temp to 75 degrees and it took another 15 minutes to heat the room to a nice cozy feeling. I gave my other two space heaters away in favor of this one. As for the noise, it is quiet whereas the other two I had were very loud. The noise level is about what a white noise machine would sound like, on a low setting. It's hardly noticeable and I did not have to adjust the volume on my computer audio for two meetings I had. As for the cons, I would say only that the remote does not come with a battery so I cannot give a review on the remote until it works. It would have been nice to be able to give a complete review on the separate component. I'm sure it works fine, but I need to see for myself. It's a small remote, like 2x3 inches, making it convenient to stash in your desk or keep in your pocket to adjust the heat setting while working. But again, without a battery I cannot confirm right now how it works. Great heater delivering instant heat, with minimal noise. I need two or three more of these. I am also going to get some for my co-workers as gifts.

Its nice to have a heater that's so responsive to being picked up or tipped over. While on, when I picked up the heater it immediately turned off. The fan an heater turned off. On some space heaters the heater turns off but the fan stays on. This one turns completely off. I liked that also it blows cool air (70 degrees). Its not a fan but being able to turn the heater to its lowest setting and it produces air without heat is nice. The heater feels cheap and looks cheap. The top of the heater is a cheap plastic. The heater does not get hot to touch, at least for the time I had it on. Its oscillation could be a bit wider in covering more room area.

This is a great space heater! It came with the remote and was ready to go out of the box. I like the 3 heat settings, and mostly have used ECO. I have used it in a 17x24 bedroom and it heats up the space very quickly. There are 2 fans in the back of the heater, which are not noisy, and the filter is removable for cleaning. I like the oscillating feature as well, I think that helps to heat the entire room more quickly. The tip over feature is a button on the bottom of the heater and turns off the heater when the heater is tipped or lifted. I have not had to try the overheating safety feature yet. I think this heater is perfect as a room size heater, I think it would be too large for under a desk or in a cubicle type space. There are two things that I noticed on this heater that were worth mentioning. When using this heater with the ECO setting, the heating elements will shut off when the desired temperature is reached, but the fans never shut off. And the second thing I noticed is that the front grill on this heater gets very hot, so I am very cautious about placement, children, pets, etc. Overall, this is a very nice heater and will keep a room toasty warm.
