After years of maintaining grass on an oversized lot I decided to seed a couple of areas with wildflowers in order to help attract more pollinators to my garden. This Southwest Regional Mix from Sweet Yards is going to help me with that task. The mix of seeds is clearly listed on the packet and includes several of my favorites. Since I've never purchased from this brand before, I decided to start a few seeds under grow lights indoors so I could get a sense of the germination rate. These performed extremely well and are an incredible value compared to other brands. Based on the company contact information listed on the package, the company seems to sell under a couple of brand names - both with similarly high quality seeds. Based on my early experience with these seeds, I will definitely be buying more.

I am super happy with the types of seeds in Sweet Yards’ Southwest Regional Wildflower Mix. I live in Southern California and have a drought tolerant yard. I plant wildflower seeds every couple of years in those blank spots between plants. (Wildflowers are great at reseeding themselves for the following year.) This package contains only seeds and not filler. I have had good luck growing all these wildflowers in the past and they are great choices for dry, drought prone areas. Plant by date is clearly marked on back of seed pouch. Planting instructions are clearly given. You will need to look up the best time for planting in your zone. Mine is now before any heavy rain. I got them in and can’t wait until spring. The birds, bees and butterflies will be happy.

This is quite a lot of seeds; a lot more in a bigger packet than the packets you find at the nursery. I appreciate the re-closeable packaging as well. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and I'm kind of taking a chance with a Southwest Blend, but if anything I know the Alyssum and the Poppies will come up. I will update this review after I plant them.

I have not planted these yet, but I will update my review if these seeds don't work out. The reason so far for the 5 stars is from the quality of everything I've seen so far. The seeds inside look healthy and there are a lot of them! The fact that I can reseal the package is important to me. I've opened and closed it several times and each time I get a nice tight seal when I close it. Excellent planting directions and the company is from Palm Springs which is very close to me. Really looking forward to getting these planted, all I need now is some rain!

I love how big this pack is. If you have land and want to scatter the seeds everywhere (I'm jealous!), this is a good sized pack for that. If you're like me and only have a patio/containers currently to use for gardening, this pack will last forever. I appreciate that, because if some seeds don't end up germinating (for whatever reason; amount of sun, position I have the pots in, etc), there's plenty left over to try again. Personally, I'm not planting these seeds until February (too cold in Texas right now), and will update the review then. However, I have other seeds from this brand and they worked wonderfully.

I weighed the amount of seeds that I received just to see how closely they come to the weight that is listed on the package. I ended up getting a little bit over what they promised. I am very pleased with the variety of seeds that are included in this package and I can’t wait to plant them and watch them grow! Very good price for these seeds.

This packet of seeds packs a big punch. It comes with a ton of seeds (it always amazes me just how many seeds fit in an ounce!) and will be great for making felted seed bombs this spring with my students. The seeds appear to be good quality, all in good shape. The packaging is appropriate for storing seeds long term and should not easily be affected by the elements so I am hopeful for a high germination rate.
