Hypoestes Pink Splash Live Potted House Plants. The plant in the photo is in a 3.5" pot. This variety has lots of pink with a little green. Very sturdy houseplants are great for the beginner. Need to brighten up your home or office, this is the perfect houseplant. Great for gifts as well. These houseplants also clean the air of toxins from pollution and smoke. Perfect for any room in the house. Tolerate medium bright to low light. Impressive pink foliage will grow quickly. Bloom summer-fall. Can grow to 1-2 feet across. Prefer bright filtered light(not too much direct sun or they burn or curl). Temps 60-90F and watering so soil is evenly moist but never soggy. Do not let soil dry out completely or the plants will yellow and possibly die. Be sure to water upon receing and let acclimate for 1-2 weeks for full appearance.

    • Beautiful, lush baby plant!!!!
The postal service lost my box of plants for 5 days, and the box travelled all over who-knows where during those days, from one post office depot to another, even though I only live a few miles away from this seller. But the plants were so strong and healthy and packed so well that after this long ordeal, they arrived in perfect health and the soil wasn't even dried out! Yes, these are baby plants, in tiny 2" pots, just as the seller says on his website and in the product info. But they are exactly what is advertised and very strong, sturdy and healthy specimens! A lot of customers tell that they immediately potted up their tiny baby plants into relatively giant 4" pots, then complain that their plant died. But that breaks all the rules of horticulture!!!!! First, never pot up a plant that has just gone through shipping stress. First let it recover. Second, find the perfect spot in our house where it will grow and be super healthy, where the amount of sun is perfect. Keep the soil moist watered, but never let the pot stay standing in excess water. After a few weeks of active healthy growth in the perfect spot, then pot the baby plant up ONE POT SIZE only! Pot these 2" babies into 3" pots. Yes, if you have a greenhouse environment and you're a plant professional, you can pot up into bigger pots in a humid, warm environment. But in the home, dry with heat and air conditioning blazing at all times, and less than ideal partially shaded perfect indirect sunlight.... None of us have this in our homes. So potting up ONE POT SIZE ONLY protects the baby roots from having to swim in souring, soggy potting soil that is growing destructive microbes since it isn't filled with enough plant roots to keep the water cycling out of the soil and into the plant. If you do this with these healthy little plants, you'll end up with a big, fully, gorgeous plant soon. Also know that polka dot plants do have to be pruned when they get leggy to keep them full and more compact and branched. I'm super happy with my babies, and will definitely buy more from CTS airplants! ... show more

Everything was fine except.....it is the smallest plant I've ever received. Teeny tiny. I might not have read Closely enough. Expected a 4 inch pot. This is barely 2 inches. Poor thing. Use a different plant nursery for four inch plants that are fluffy. I am an avid gardener but not able to shop. Amazon plants have been decent. ... show more

I have been lax in leaving reviews but I HAD to for this one! This seller must have contact with a starship because last night this was in Alabama and today in Tucson I am taking care of my baby NOW!!! And she is a beautiful baby with bright pink and green colors nice strong leaves and having had 2 of these previously which I gave to my niece I was so looking forward to having my own again. in the pic the plant looks large in the pot and very healthy. when i got it the plant looked dead. had to put it outside for 2 days and was ok. the pot is 3 1/2 inches the actual plan seemed to be about 1 in across. very small and disappointing.

It did come with some dying leaves on top (im assuming from shipment) i picked off some of the more crusty ones before taking the pictures but overall, not bad at all and im excited to see it grow! Smashed, dirt not deep enough for roots. Picture is deceiving shows a full plant when it is 1 very small rooted stem. I was really looking forward to this beauty but was very disappointed. I am going to attempt to save it but my hopes are not high.
