Description

Hypoestes Pink Splash Live Potted House Plants. The plant in the photo is in a 3.5" pot. This variety has lots of pink with a little green. Very sturdy houseplants are great for the beginner. Need to brighten up your home or office, this is the perfect houseplant. Great for gifts as well. These houseplants also clean the air of toxins from pollution and smoke. Perfect for any room in the house. Tolerate medium bright to low light. Impressive pink foliage will grow quickly. Bloom summer-fall. Can grow to 1-2 feet across. Prefer bright filtered light(not too much direct sun or they burn or curl). Temps 60-90F and watering so soil is evenly moist but never soggy. Do not let soil dry out completely or the plants will yellow and possibly die. Be sure to water upon receing and let acclimate for 1-2 weeks for full appearance.

This plant is amazing! It was tiny when I got it, I mean TINY, but has already doubled or tripled in size. It's so gorgeous! The colors just pop on it. I've already had to repot twice and I've only had it a month, maybe a month and a half. It grows so fast! I did spray bug killer on the leaves when I got it but only because I'd heard they could be there, not because I saw any. I have this in a window but it gets no direct sunlight. It's just such a healthy, happy little plant. Usually I kill plants so I'm amazed at how well this plant is surviving and thriving. I am in love. Gorgeous color! Shipped in quality packaging, received safe and sound. Please know... a 2 inch pot is small! Much smaller than you expect. However, this is a beautiful and fast growing plant that will thrive if re-potted and taken care of correctly. Mine is over 8" tall now on a trellis.

Everything was fine except.....it is the smallest plant I've ever received. Teeny tiny. I might not have read Closely enough. Expected a 4 inch pot. This is barely 2 inches. Poor thing. Use a different plant nursery for four inch plants that are fluffy. I am an avid gardener but not able to shop. Amazon plants have been decent. ... show more

    • Good Buy, but not for novice level houseplanters.
Plant came well packaged and in good condition. But I could not keep this alive. Don’t think it was fault of the company that sold it though… Very delicate leaves and very sensitive to over/under watering and sun. Not for the newbie houseplanter!

The picture is a bit misleading. It is indeed in a 2-inch pot, it's teenie tiny teeenie tinyl. Packaged well, let's hope it grows up into the picture in the listing. Update: it died.

The plant is about one square inch in size, and it’s not what you could call a healthy inch. It was dry and pathetic, and a definite disappointment for the price.
