This is a great collection of hard to find plants! I had previously ordered the set of four larger plants and the set of six plants this size and loved them both. I wanted to order more later to see what other plants I might receive. I wasn’t disappointed. I received healthy plants that were well packaged just as I had twice before. This box included a list of plant names and instructions on how to care for them. That was very helpful because I’ve never been successful at keeping indoor plants alive for long. The plants I ordered from this company are still thriving. I only lost one tiny spider plant starter due to frostbite because I had ordered over the winter, but that wasn’t the seller’s fault. My package had been handled roughly during shipping and that particular plant had taken the most damage. It can be easily replaced. The other plants would be harder to replace. I’ve never seen most of them at local stores or nurseries. They’re beautiful and definitely worth ordering. It’s such fun to get the box with mystery plants inside! I already knew that I could trust these plants, so I felt comfortable ordering more. Trying to make room for them has been interesting, but they’re making my home feel more like it’s connected to the outdoors and to nature. And the gorgeous colors of the plants really pop. The leaves have such beautiful colors and patterns that it’s hard not to keep looking at them. A friend told me to play music for vegetable plants because it helps them grow, so I tried this for the small houseplants, too. It actually works! I found some really good articles online about why this works and what types of music plants prefer. Apparently, the vibrations mimic sounds in nature and cause them to take in more nutrients which encourages growth. I’m already seeing a difference between the plants exposed to certain music and those without the same exposure. They apparently like classical music, stringed music, devotional music, and female voices, along with certain other types. I’m playing CDs and a contemporary Christian radio station for them several hours per day. They didn’t respond to the teaching sermons on Moody Radio that I listen to, but they definitely responded to the music within a day or two. Some even lean toward the music. And some started showing new growth within a day of exposure to music. Grow lights have also helped in areas without enough natural light. The sizes vary, but you can’t expect this many plants for less money. I just checked houseplants at a local big box store’s “nursery” and they were boring, sickly and too expensive for what they had to offer. These plants are a much better bargain and you will receive some hard to find plants that are absolutely beautiful. I’m sure that many of the plants I lost in the past died because they were already sick when I bought them from local stores where employees didn’t know how to properly care for them. I feel much safer ordering them from experts who probably supply the local stores anyway. I also do something that many people probably never think of. I pray about what I should order and when I should order it. And then I listen and obey what the Lord directs me to do. I also trust Him to direct the people choosing the plants for me, so that I will receive whatever I am supposed to receive. This might sound crazy to people unfamiliar with Scripture, but it makes all the sense in the world to those of us who are. It certainly can’t hurt to try it.

These little beauties arrived in 2" pots placed inside 4" six-cell drainage trays. Each pot was wrapped in a bouquet bag secured with a rubber band. They were sent in a box clearly labeled as live plants, and arrived undamaged from shipping. The plants I received vary between 2" to 5" tall. There's some minor leaf damage on a couple of them, but nothing fatal. Only one's soil was mostly dry upon arrival, which is not bad for traveling 2" pots. Apart from the couple of damaged leaves, they seem very healthy. I absolutely love the collection I received! Two are new to me, the rest are all welcome favorites. I received a Cryptanthus Earth Star, a Tradescantia Zebrina, a Syngonium Merry Maria, a Black Magic Begonia, a Dieffenbachia, a Croton, an Irish Spider, a Purple Waffle, a Fittonia Red Vein Mini, two Peperomia Obtusifolia: one variegated, one Red Edge, and Hedera California Ivy. I got these on sale but even the regular listed price is terrific for a starter plant 12 pack! With their great pricing, excellent plants, and good shipping I'll definitely buy from this seller again. I am completely thrilled! 😊

Overall, I'm very happy about the plants. The price per very tiny pot seems a bit high but still a good value. They're very healthy and a good size. I'm knocking a star because two pots of Pothos were essentially cutting shoved into the dirt. They were sent to me before they formed roots. I have them potted and I'm hoping they will grow since I know Pothos are pretty hardy.

All of these plants arrived in a healthy condition. The leaves and stems are in excellent condition. The soil is moist in all of the six plastic containers. I would order these plants again.

I was so excited to see what I got and for the most part the plants are really good, however one of them was clearly unhealthy. The leaves were rotting off, many were stuck to the plastic. One of the other plants is kind of small. The rest are healthy and vibrant and I am pleased with them.

I ordered these plants because when I was in the interior landscaping business, Costa Farms was known as an excellent grower of interior plants, and I used many of their products. When these small plants arrived, one had several brown leaves. However, I dropped it when I took it out of the box, so I didn't want to complain, not being able to identify how much damage was already there and how much damage I did by dropping. Of course, the brown leaves were there, but my drop could have caused unseen damage. I removed the bad leaves and watered the plant and expected it to revive and do well. Another plant was totally wilted. But I watered it well, and it seemed to revive and looked good. The third plant was fine. I cared for the plants carefully, and I was one of the first 50 certified interior horticulturists in the nation, so I know how to care for indoor plants. Unfortunately, in spite of my best efforts, the two damaged plants died. I looked at the product description and saw a number for Costa Farms for a guarantee. I called that number, and the man I spoke with said Amazon was responsible for the guarantee. I explained that the Amazon website said Costa Farms was responsible and provided this number to call. He said that wasn't right and gave me a number to call at Amazon. The man who answered said Costa Farms was responsible for the guarantee and gave me a number to call. I told him I had already called that number and the person answering gave me the number I was speaking to him on. He assured me that Costa Farms was responsible, and he would remind them of that. He told me he sent a message to Costa Farms reminding them about their guarantee and promised me someone from Costa would contact me to offer replacements for the two plants that died. I waited for several weeks before writing a review to give Costa Farms time to respond. Unfortunately, they never did. This was very disappointing to me, as the good opinion I had of the nursery from my years as an interior landscaper was tarnished by this. I don't know whether their quality has deteriorated in the 25+ years since I dealt with them, whether they are better with the large plants we used in interior landscaping than the small plants in this order, or whether this was just a confusing glitch. Whatever caused it, this was a disappointment to me.

This is the best plant shipping I have ever had in my entire life. I have lots of pictures so be sure to look at them. They were packaged beautifully. So carefully protected in the box. The box had air holes in it, and it was clearly marked careful. Live plants. Each plant was individually wrapped with opening at the bottom and at the top so the plant could breathe and then it was each one and its own individual little mini pot and it had a rubber band loosely around it so that that stayed on really well. All 12 or in their own pots they look great. They gave me a really nice variety. Two for spider plants of a different variety than you normally see which was really cool. Three of them are wandering Jews or as they are now politically correctly called wandering dudes. Whatever but anyway. And then there are several others which I can’t remember at the moment, but there is a really nice variety. And they’re all easy to care for plants. I took each one carefully out of the wrapping and put it in a small 3 gallon aquarium that I have and missed them all and then put a lid on it so that they would stay damp, but not soaking wet. Actually, I should say it’s a partial lid, but it’s glass also. I’m leaving them there until I figure out what to do with them, but that should only be a couple of days. I honestly did not expect this kind of quality. But I will definitely be ordering again. Don’t let this go by without ordering. Oh yeah, I forgot to say so that the rating is good for them. The leaves are absolutely beautiful. The size is generous, but not too big and the texture of the leaves is absolutely as it should be.

The plants are so beautiful. The are all very healthy. I am so happy with them, they were all packaged perfectly and arrived quickly. I put them in the greenhouse to rest from their journey. I planted them today. My plants included the Begonia Black Magic, Philodendron Brassil, Hemi Graphis Exotica Purple Waffle, Tradescantia Zebrina Pendula Burgandy, Episcia Pink Panther, and Chloraphytum Comosum Variegated Irish. All of them are very healthy, colorful, with strong roots. The plants arrive with a large sticker with the names of the plants and how to take of them. The sticker is very convenient; I stuck to my clipboard in my greenhouse, saving me from writing it all down. The plants are flawless; no tears or no damage at all. I love receiving such beautiful plants, I know they were well cared for, and I know I will be shopping from this seller, again.
