I thought i had reviewed these plants but i found I hadnt done so. I will let these pictures tell the story. They survived the travel to my humble apartment. They survived my ignorance and brown thumb. They make me happy. I am surprised that I was able to keep them alive and they have really florished. It also good that these plants are hardy and they are made to survive the brown thumbers' ignorance. I speak to them everyday. They are my babies. Just make sure to keep a close eye on them. The croton almost died on me because i dared to repot it. So watch out for her and the fittonia which will swoon when it is thirsty ... show more

    • Another amazing collection of plants from this seller!
This is a great collection of hard to find plants! I had previously ordered the set of four larger plants and the set of six plants this size and loved them both. I wanted to order more later to see what other plants I might receive. I wasn’t disappointed. I received healthy plants that were well packaged just as I had twice before. This box included a list of plant names and instructions on how to care for them. That was very helpful because I’ve never been successful at keeping indoor plants alive for long. The plants I ordered from this company are still thriving. I only lost one tiny spider plant starter due to frostbite because I had ordered over the winter, but that wasn’t the seller’s fault. My package had been handled roughly during shipping and that particular plant had taken the most damage. It can be easily replaced. The other plants would be harder to replace. I’ve never seen most of them at local stores or nurseries. They’re beautiful and definitely worth ordering. It’s such fun to get the box with mystery plants inside! I already knew that I could trust these plants, so I felt comfortable ordering more. Trying to make room for them has been interesting, but they’re making my home feel more like it’s connected to the outdoors and to nature. And the gorgeous colors of the plants really pop. The leaves have such beautiful colors and patterns that it’s hard not to keep looking at them. A friend told me to play music for vegetable plants because it helps them grow, so I tried this for the small houseplants, too. It actually works! I found some really good articles online about why this works and what types of music plants prefer. Apparently, the vibrations mimic sounds in nature and cause them to take in more nutrients which encourages growth. I’m already seeing a difference between the plants exposed to certain music and those without the same exposure. They apparently like classical music, stringed music, devotional music, and female voices, along with certain other types. I’m playing CDs and a contemporary Christian radio station for them several hours per day. They didn’t respond to the teaching sermons on Moody Radio that I listen to, but they definitely responded to the music within a day or two. Some even lean toward the music. And some started showing new growth within a day of exposure to music. Grow lights have also helped in areas without enough natural light. The sizes vary, but you can’t expect this many plants for less money. I just checked houseplants at a local big box store’s “nursery” and they were boring, sickly and too expensive for what they had to offer. These plants are a much better bargain and you will receive some hard to find plants that are absolutely beautiful. I’m sure that many of the plants I lost in the past died because they were already sick when I bought them from local stores where employees didn’t know how to properly care for them. I feel much safer ordering them from experts who probably supply the local stores anyway. I also do something that many people probably never think of. I pray about what I should order and when I should order it. And then I listen and obey what the Lord directs me to do. I also trust Him to direct the people choosing the plants for me, so that I will receive whatever I am supposed to receive. This might sound crazy to people unfamiliar with Scripture, but it makes all the sense in the world to those of us who are. It certainly can’t hurt to try it. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I ordered the Easy to Grow Houseplants 12 Pack from Plants for Pets and was really pleased. The plants arrived healthy and well-packaged, each in its own small pot with soil included. There was a nice mix of different types, and even though you don’t get to choose exactly what you get, the variety was fun and all the plants looked great. They’ve been very easy to care for, needing just light and water. The pots are simple nursery containers, so I’ll eventually repot them into something nicer, but that’s expected. Some plants are small and still growing, but overall, it’s a great value and a fun way to bring greenery into your home. I’d definitely buy it again. ... show more

Mixed feelings on this. You decide: BAD - Forget the picture. The arrived as scraggly looking seedlings' -One was snappe3d off at the base. 1/12 of my purchase POOF (In fairness, they said they have a satisfaction guarantee, I didn't both -Each plant was in its own 2" pot with a cellophane wrap and a dowel to hold it in place in the box. -Plants arrived and were repotted 2 wks ago. THey are doing very well; General -Be ready to repot. As I said, they arrived looking a little scraggly but snapped back extremely well' -Overall , if you have trouble getting out (senior living center) it's aggod way to get a nice bunch of plants. If I could get out I probably would have paid a bit more and bought larger plants from a "box store" or nursery. -Would buy again, but would look for something bigger. - ... show more

when I say these plants came beautifully packaged no damage everybody was nice and hydrated. Nobody was half dead. Everyone was exactly in their pods. I would 10 out of 10 recommend and I will be buying again probably today. I got a beautiful assortment. There were no duplicates and I got an easy care tag for every single thing that was in my box.
