Honest Review: I absolutely loved these plants! I was looking for more greenery to add to my bathroom and bedroom, and these arrived so beautifully. Each plant was vibrant, healthy, and packaged with care—wrapped in a paper bag with a rubber band to keep the soil in place, plus an extra layer of paper for protection. What I really appreciated was that all five plants were different kinds, not just duplicates. It made the set feel more thoughtful and unique. The price was amazing too—I got five plants for less than I would’ve paid for just a couple at a store. They were super easy to repot, and they instantly made both my bathroom and bedroom feel cozier and more alive. I’m totally in love with them! ... show more

So the pros: they were all alive and in tact from shipping. I received 1 pearl pothos 1 jade 1 Calathea (I think) 1 anthurium 1 wandering jew 1 begonia of some sort A nice assortment. The pothos is perfect, couldn't ask for better, the wandering jew as well is already growing like crazy, the anthurium had a failed prop but otherwise the plant was fine if just a little wimpy from shipping Negatives: the Jade is alive but it is damaged in a way thats hard to describe. It's like someone took a razor to it and cut the leaves in straight lines? Otherwise the plant is alive. The calathea is alive but consisted of two very large leaves, one of which is dying but I think I may have revived it a bit. The begonia was the one in the worst condition. It was severely insect damaged but upon inspection... no insects. (Save for an empty snail shell in the soil) No insects on the other plants either. The begonia is in rough shape but has been doing little bit better, eventually I will prune the damaged leaves but that was the only one that really had me take a star off, so overall? A great way to get some nice plants for not a hefty price. I would say expect at least 2 plants to come damaged or in rough shape. However with a little tlc, they might be saved. Im actually very pleased, despite these cons, theyre all doing well and ive had them in the nursery pots for about a week and watered them today and they seem very lively. To those wondering, these are very beginner friendly plants. With the wandering jew and pothos, youre going to want a trellis (i made my own out of paper straws and scotch tape) bc pothos esp are notorious climbers. Day 2 the pothos was already reaching to climb the cord of the plant light. All of these plants will thrive under a plant light or filtered/indirect sunlight. Most of these plants can be propagated as well to make more plants! Overall good value. ... show more

    • Half happy, half sad...

This may be helpful, but probably not, lol... I try and review things like I would if I'm telling a friend about it, so here we go. First, I'm semi-new to plants. So, there's that. That's about 50% of the issue. And I feel like maybe some people have found this item because they're new, too. I'll go through the pros and cons from my experience and also my lack of experience. Pros: They got here well packaged, they were in a little 6 pack container, but they were all packaged in plastic individually, with a stake keeping the rubberband holding the plastic on off the plant. Great packaging. I now know where every "indirect sunlight" place in my house is (they should see the sun, but the sun should not see them, if you don't know what that means) and have had fun moving them to see how they do in different spots every so often. The assortment was awesome and I got some I really wanted. They sent me a free one, very sweet. It was a lot of fun to open the box and see what I got. The amount of money for 6 (or, 7) plants wasn't a lot. Cons: I won't have that many plants when this is all done. The soil they're in was mostly, or completely dried out on several when they got here. I'm sure because of shipping, maybe the truck was hot, maybe it was the few days in a hot box, not sure, but dry. The plants didn't look so good, wilty and sad, and one of them (the curly spider) also had some broken leaves. Broken before shipping, no broken leaf pieces in the plastic. The leaves are long and I'm almost sure that's normal and not a big deal. Another big con is I don't know how to take care of a struggling plant yet. I figured I'd give them a drink and tell them they'd be alright and love them back to health. I currently have 3 out of 7 that are okay and a 4th one that we just tell them that they're okay and stay hopeful. We also don't talk about the other 3, or where they may have went. I got a satin pythos that I really wanted, two cuttings of it. When one out of the two leaves died on a cutting, I tried putting it in water (pro: learned about water propagation on YouTube), but it didn't work and I just had 2 dead leaves in a bottle in a few days. It was sad. The second cutting lost one of the leaves today, I unpotted it to try to put it in water and discovered it does have roots, but they're brown and I'm not sure what that means yet, so I put it back in the soil. (I'll go watch more YouTube videos, lol). Big con, this has not been "easy". The ivy has perked back up, the other pythos (a Hawaiian one) was larger and actually had roots, it's starting to perk back up, and the Wandering Jew seems like it'll be okay, everything else is still a big maybe. It has been a little stressful not knowing if what I'm doing is right, or not, and I feel like it's easier, for me, to go buy a healthy plant and start from there. So, would I recommend this? Maybe. The value is good, the assortment is good and it was fun to see what I got. You might have better luck than I did, too. I'm not sure if a refund is even possible, I didn't look and i love the ones i still have, so I don't want to return them anyway. We're in it for the long haul, or the short haul, whatever happens lol. I'd check the return policy in case something happens, if you're not someone who gets invested and attached, you'll be okay if you can send them back. I'm all invested and attached already.
