I ordered these seeds last June and planted the pickling cucumbers. They germinated fast and I had a bumper crop of cucumbers! This spring I planted more cucumbers, 3 lettuce varieties, spring onions, spinach, 3 tomato varieties and green peppers from the set (I may be forgetting a couple) and EVERYTHING has germinated fast and well! Germination rate still TBD as I am just about to plant them. Was mostly a nice variety but one of my packs was for sunflowers, which obviously is not a vegetable/herb and I have no use for.

    • Good Variety of Seeds, but Germination Results Were Mixed
I picked up this seed collection to expand my home garden and was impressed by the number of varieties included. With 43 different vegetable and herb seed packets, it offers plenty of options for anyone planning a larger garden or wanting to experiment with different plants throughout the season. The packaging was organized, and the seed assortment matched the description. I especially liked having both common vegetables and a few varieties I hadn’t grown before. The included storage bag was a nice addition for keeping everything together. However, my results were somewhat inconsistent. Some seeds germinated quickly and produced healthy seedlings, while others had very low germination rates despite being started under the same conditions. Over several weeks, I noticed a significant difference in performance between packets, which made the overall experience a bit unpredictable. For gardeners who enjoy trying different varieties, this set still offers decent value because of the large quantity of seeds included. Just be aware that you may have better success with some varieties than others. All seeds I’ve planted from this have sprouted. I will say the cherry tomatoes refuse to grow larger than a sprout. I’ve been gardening for years and I have never seen this. But everything else is magnificent. The zucchini is the star of the show though! You cannot beat the price for all these heirloom seeds! ... show more
