The batteries do not last! The door knob drains the battery. I have to change the battery and I only installed it 3 weeks ago. THIS IS AN UPDATED REVIEW OF THIS DOOR KNOB!!! DO NOT PURCHASE!!! THE WARRANTY IS NOT REAL! IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE DOORKNOB OR IT STOPS WORKING, THE SELLER DOES NOT GRANT USAGE OF THE FAKE WARRANTY! YOU CAN CONTACT CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT THE SELLER WILL REROUTE YOU BACK TO AMAZON AND THEN AMAZON PASSES YOU BACK TO THE SELLER AND YOU START THE PROCESS OVER AND OVER UNTIL YOU REALIZE THAT YOU HAVE JUST BEEN SCAMMED. IT TOOK 3 ATTEMPTS FOR ME TO FIND OUT. During the holiday season, my house becomes a hub for various gatherings and events. Previously, I would have to lock each room with a regular key, which often turned into a nightmare. My husband would constantly have to hunt me down for the key whenever he needed access to his office. Got the first one, and it arrived broken. The wires to the battery pack were cut or pulled loose. I now assume that they sent me a broken return, as I can completely understand how a person would pull the battery pack loose, as the wires are EXTREMELY short. Sent it back, got the new one, installed it, and other than a few nitpicky issues, I really like it. Well, LIKED it. After working well for the last 4 months, it suddenly stopped working. I used an external battery to test it, and it worked, so I assumed that is a dead battery issue. However, I put brand new batteries in it, being careful not to damage the cord, and it STILL doesn't work ..... unless I use an external battery. So I paid for a 4 month experience, and I'm past my return window. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

I bought this to secure my home office door. It is much larger than I expected, which looks awkward but not a deal breaker for me. Installation was simple if you've ever replace a door knob before. The lock itself works well and the sensor reads your fingerprint quickly. The main issues I have with this is that the quality of this unit is on the cheap side. The knob wobbles and the general feel is just cheap. And the battery dies quicker than I would expect. For the price, I would expect a higher quality product with a longer battery life.

It works well and I have had no problems. This is the second one I have bought. The quality is a bit meh however and the door knob is much bulkier than even your big old ornate knobs. The knob tends to wobble no matter how tightly you turn the screws. Every now and then you need to reprogram your finger again as it seems to forgot you. All in all it is functional and I feel like I got my money's worth.

I ordered this for my “she shed”. It was easy to program as well as install. I normally use the deadbolts with codes - but my she shed door did not have a deadbolt hole - so I chose this little gem! It works PERFECT! If you need access with no finger print - gently lift the “cap” and turn to expose the key hole. Perfect addition to my security, great value for the money- highly Recommend

Packaging is great, instructions crystal clear, feels durable, it even comes with screwdrivers and a ruler. The here is no planned space for the wiring and it does get pinched throwing off the fit. There is no slack in the wiring to install batteries and if you pull slightly the wire does not go back in which prevents closing the doorknob cap. You can either secure the doorknob or the battery enclosure, not both. Additionally, the thumbprint reader beeps loudly when touched which I don’t want my bedroom doorknob to do. I am giving one star on everything because it doesn’t even install so the other ratings are not even possible.
