For light cleaning of floors, uphostery and delicate surfaces, to deep cleaning of area rugs, the ergonomic button design on the display screen allows you toggle through low, medium and high power levels easily, using just your thumb.
  • HYGIENIC DUST DISPOSAL: The STV-3 base station essentially performs like a vacuum cleaner for your vacuum cleaner, extracting the dirt in the primary dust bin into a disposable H10 HEPA filter bag, while also cleaning the filter screen, cyclones and H13 primary filter in the vacuum. This makes dust disposal easy, mess-free and hygienic. The base station also has an H13 HEPA exhaust filter, and automatically charges the STV-3's battery when the vacuum is docked.
  • DUST DETECTION: The STV-3 features an optical dust sensor that detects when the vacuum is actively picking up debris. The screen will say "Dust Detected", indicating that you may have to pass the vacuum over the surface again to pick up all of the debris. When the screen illuminates in green, dust is no longer detected (i.e. the surface is free of dust).
  • SAFTEY FEATURES: The STV-3 can sense if the air flow resistence is too high, indicating the presence of a full dust bin or a clog in the vacuum. The powerhead also features a sensor that detects if an object is caught in the brush roll. These features reduce the chance of damage to the vacuum, and keep it performing its very best.

Suction is excellent. I bought this primarily to clean stairs instead of lugging my heavy canister vac up and down. It has a smaller rotary accessory. The other accessories are handy and well designed. The large brush head doesn't maneuver quite as well as I would like, but it could be worse. The design is mostly good , the door gets stuck part way open when suctioning dust into the base if there are carpet fibers in the canister, so have to pull the carpet fibers out by hand. The base seal could be better as some dust does come out into the room when emptying. My remedy for this is to keep it in the garage so dust isn't coming back into the house. As others have stated , at high power the battery does run out quickly . The solution to that is don't do the whole house at once. I might buy an additional battery. Overall not perfect, but still very good . It is reasonably priced. ... show more

My vacuum cleaner finally gave up on me so I had to find another one. I have been looking for one that is lightweight, but powerful. I went looking on Amazon, because you can find anything here for a great price and I found this one. Not only is the Soniclean lightweight so I don't have to much trouble with my arthritis, but it's also functional, easy to use on all types of flooring and has a surprisingly amount of suction to it. It's has a lot of attachments that come with it that can detach so that you can use it in other areas. It also comes with a docking station, but it self empties so that you don't have to. It came at a great price point as well. I highly recommend this product ... show more

Having had a few different stick vac’s with bag bases, this vacuum is almost perfect. It has good suction that is adjustable, a great run time, and replacement batteries available for sale. It gets golden retriever fur off low pile area rugs without issue, transitions easily between surfaces and does great on solid surface floors. The only issue is that it struggles to suck all of the golden retriever fur out of the canister and into the base/bag. I use bagged vacuums because of allergies. I keep finding myself digging dog hair out of the canister, which is not ideal. Otherwise a fantastic vacuum and much better than the full size kenmore pet hair vacuum we have. ... show more

As a homeowner with a serious aversion to dust bunnies lurking in forgotten corners, finding a vacuum that truly handles the tough-to-reach spots has been quest. After just a week with the Soniclean STV-3 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner I am sold. What immediately impressed me was its nimble design and light weight. This isn't your mom’s bulky upright. The head swivels effortlessly, making it a dream for navigating around chair legs and obstacles. And under the bed, the head lies flat, allowing it to glide deep under my bed and sofa with no problem. It effortlessly pulled out dirt and hair that my old vacuum just pushed around. No more dusty bunnies. In the corners the suction is strong right up to the edges, and the narrow profile of the head lets you get deep into baseboard corners. The suction power is strong. It handles everything from fine dust on hard floors to embedded pet hair in rugs. I am impressed with the battery life, out of the box it had a 50% charge and after a complete run through the house still had a 20% charge. It only took a few hours for a full charge. The self-cleaning feature is super cool. You place it in the docking station it completely cleans the dirt reservoir. ... show more
