This piece of furniture is well made, so easy to assemble, and the finished product is so attractive! It allows us to store many pairs of shoes. We added storage cubes to the bottom for sandals and smaller tennis shoes. The doors open wide for easy access as well. We did add 2 knobs just to add detail to the from Dave of this piece. One door didn't seem aligned and adjustjng the legs helped but made the other door misaligned. Can't tell if it's a manufacturing issue or just difficult to get the feet level.Other than that it looks nice and has a good amount of space and is sturdy.

Great, sturdy and easy to clean. Build was one of the easiest to do alone. None of the metal is uncoated (?) so I am not worried about it rusting. My small complaint is how the middle shelf is secured. They provide white plastic clips to hold the shelf down and those stand out (because it is white against black) and they come out too easily from things just brushing against it. ... show more

It was carefully packed, all the pieces clearly marked, and easy to assemble. Though it is metal, it has a matte finish and wood top, and it is very sturdy and steady. It is a better quality cabinet than expected, and I am personally very pleased with it.

    • Difficult to assemble but ok for the price

Overall, for the price it is a good value. Definitely sturdy. The assembly was difficult as the many of the holes did not line up. The holes on the top piece were especially out of line. I had to leave quite a few screws out but the cabinet seems to be ok. One door was much lower than the other and dragged across the bottom of the unit when closing. They provide 4 little washers which can be attached to the bottom of the door to adjust the height. It is still lower than the other but I don't think it is really all that noticeable especially since it is black. Also, the instructions are pretty minimal - it really helps to watch the assembly video in the item description. Between the two it took me 2 hours to assemble. The adjustable shelves fit perfectly and were easy to insert. Not sure I would recommend this item but I am ok with the result. ... show more
