  • Hutch Quality of life UP majory
Color: Black
Best purchase I've made for these bunnies. Their quality of life (for being in their hutch) has increased, I'm so happy. They inhabit every part of this hutch . With limited space, I wanted to find a way to give them more space by going vertical. Besides being more mentally stimulating & having more resting place options, they are getting a little more exercise too. They have 2 levels to run around now & after 6 months I saw one bunny hop from the second level down onto the ramp landing at the 1/2 point on the ramp (verses normal walk/run entry onto the ramp). My bunnies aren't big hoppers as they were in their youth, so that was refreshing to witness. I like the adaptability of this hutch. I made 2 access doors that I keep shut with clips for easier access to cleaning or opening it so the bunnies can go out into a folding pen I also clip onto the hutch. I have their food & drink on the upper level with a matt that absorbs the water & let's it evaporate so I don't have the mess on the second level that had when they lived in their folding pen & water dripped all over the floor & food pellets swelled & poop would mix with the water. This feels more sanitary. Their litter box is on the first level opposite corner (the corner they of course dictated. I can change their food location but not their litter box location, lol.) I tied a tunnel on & they love that thing (second best purchase I made). I recently purchased a few more hanging chew toys & clip on items that I'm excited to try out to see if the bunnies like it. But my point in saying that is that the wire multi level provides a lot of creative options. I like hanging & tieing stuff to secure it otherwise things become a hot mess fast & though they are good with peeing in their litter box, I'd say only 50% of their poop goes in their litter box. I want them to have stimulation & options but I don't want to add to the mess either. So I'm excited I can hang things from overhang or walls, unlike their wooden hutch they use to have with a wooden ceiling that served the function then of keeping the sun out when they were located in the lanai, but we wanted them to feel more apart of family life so we moved them into the living room. The footings are good for it not moving around. But I've actually removed the skid-proof adhesive padding from the bottom of the footings. I move the entire hutch over to clean the floor, then when done I move the hitch back into place. It's easier to do without the skid-proof adhesive. Though the hutch doesn't really need it, it pretty much stays put wherever I place it. Highly recommend! Until I bunny proof the downstairs to allow them to free roam, this is the best thing I could do for them. Plus with another baby on the way, any freeroam my be paused or post-poned since they leave poop all over (not ideal for crawling infants). So this is going to have to be their main space for a while. Much better then what they had. ... show more

  • Does it do the job?
Color: Black
Hello! I’m a 15 year old girl with a rabbit named Cosmo. I adopted him about 2 months ago. And when we got him he had came with a small rabbit cage. If you own a rabbit you would know that rabbits DO NOT belong in cages. I upgraded his cage to a x-pen and decided this one would be best. Instead of making it 2 story like it is in the picture, I just doubled the tiles and made more room for him. His x-pen setup is 3 by 4 and he LOVES IT. Personally I’m not a fan on the 2 layer original style of this x-pen as for your rabbit cannot jump around and binky as well and much as they could. (if that’s what you’re keeping in the x-pen) easy to build and nice and sturdy. Arrived quickly and on time. 10/10. Worth the price in my opinion. ... show more

  • Great for my needs, but not perfect
Color: Black
So a year ago I took in two sister momma cats and their 9 kittens (yes 9) plus a stray kitten a neighbor found. So hubby is not a cat fan so containment was key to keeping the peace lol as soon and they started moving I started looking at indoor cages nothing worked just right (even this, but hang on) so with such a large group of cats I bought two of these and another one that was just a different amount of pieces (and had two hammocks the kittens loved!) as well as some plastic (not barred) ones. well now the fun part lol I designed and set up the cages a large area for kittens and a slightly smaller area for the mommas (only while trying to get the kittens to stop feeding of course) well they were a pain to fully snap together and some wouldn’t stay but some zip ties fixed that (plus the kittens liked spinning them and whatnot lol) I could only do so big before adding support but that was expected the doors were neat but the locks broke quickly! So don’t expect those to make it long! We added a mat under it to catch food, litter ect cuz cats, especially kittens are a mess lol for as large as I had it clean up under was not simple but the short “legs” to hold it up off the ground was handy I eventually had to invest in a vacuum just for this (after pic was taken) and then we got more cats .... yup more I had left over panels and all that so I made a mini cage with door..... these ones absolutely had to be separate as they were strays I caught I learned quickly that chunky adults could plow right through it if not fully secured! As in zip ties everywhere and I do mean everywhere! (Even the door for awhile while they adjusted had to do a new one each time thank goodness zip ties are cheap! Lol) so I kept this one smaller as I only caught one adult (he actually stayed the longest!) the three kittens/young adults were only with us about a week (only one wouldn’t let me near him 😕) they went to a vet that adopts out kittens (after an as I call it “kitty cancer” test was clean for them of course) so I only had the big guy who was a cranky guy but allowed me to change out his food, water, litter as needed after zip tying the crate closed I never had an issue with him escaping again (thankfully!) (he btw was adopted to someone who deals with semi ferals and is now tame and has dogs as besties!) back to the momma sisters and kittens, the kittens constantly when out of the crate playing would crawl under it 🙄 thankfully only a few were pain in the butts to get out lol I had a ramp inside leading to the litterbox it kept falling all the time 🤦🏻♀️ But eventually the kittens didn’t need it they did need the plastic (not barred) crate pieces I had gotten also around the litterbox as they kept kicking... “stuff” on the walls 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ All and all it was a bit spendy getting all I did and they weren’t perfect by any means but this was perfect for my needs as I could change things anytime as they grew ... show more

  • Excellent grids!!
Color: Black
I have bought numerous boxes of these grids. What made me start buying these instead of amazon basics 12 inch grids like everybody else is because my first c&c cage was a kavee cage. So i started looking for grids the same size and style of those grids could add to, expand etc and save a ton of money. I have built several massive stacked cages with these grids and they all have been sturdy and well put together. I have build storages stands to connect to cages with these grids as well. You can use them to make anything you want. If you’re buying them to build cages you'll have to buy a coroplast base or make your own coro base. It doesn’t come with a bottom. If you’re using them to build lofts and ramps you again will need ciroplast to make a bottom base for those. They are more expensive than the amazon basics grids but they’re bigger allowing you to build a more true to size c&c cage . They’re marked as 13.8 grids but are act14 inch. I compared them to a14 inch grids i have and they’re the exact same size. I highly recommend these grids. ... show more

  • Great budget friendly alternative to a cage.
Color: Black
Rabbits are not meant to be placed in a cage and left. They aren't mice or guinea pigs. They need room to run around, and no cage provided us with this type of solution. So I purchased a large cage and a dog gated fence that's 34 inches tall. My Rabbit eventually learned he can jump over it with ease. I came across this product, after several different ways, we finally discovered the perfect set up for our bunny. He loves it, and there is no possibly way for him to escape. The setup you see in the picture is much larger than you see in the picture. We had to purchase this product twice to get what you see but it was well worth it. The product did have some cons, the wiring in-between tiles breaks easily, please purchase some type of flooring and make it a habit to check for any that could be poking out that could be very harmful to your Rabbit. The zip ties are a must, please ensure all tiles are zip tied because they will become loose and if you have a set up similar to mine you do not want those tigher tiles to give and for your Rabbit to fall through. This doesn't come with flooring, so if you have carpet like I do, I purchased a 8 by 5 wood board from the local hardware store and some vinyl flooring, used that as it is easy to clean and supports the structure better than carpet. ... show more

  • Absolute must-have for bunny parents
Color: Black
I originally bought one of these for my first bunny, since the cage we had was relatively small and old, and once assembled it instantly became his new home. A couple months later, I had ended up with a couple more fluffer children, and figured it was time for a couple more sets of these cages. For my two bonded bunnies, I built a much larger cage, and put it in my office/gaming room so they can hang out with me while I'm on the computer. My third bunny is a bit smaller, and doesn't get along with the other ones as well, so I put her in my bedroom, in a smaller (but still very spacious) cage. This cage is the absolute best option for both people just getting their first fluff child, and seasoned bunny parents as well. The amount of potential customization is unbeatable, and with the included zip-ties (and some other furnishings), grants the ability to make a mega-mansion capable of making any bnuy happy!! :3 ... show more

  • Nice sturdy cage and good price.
Color: Black
Was looking for a cage that wasn't so small and closed in as I was getting my daughter her first bunny. I came across this cage on Amazon and loved the look, after scrolling for about 10 minutes and going back to look at this cage probably 5 more times I decided it was the one I had to buy. The cage got to my house in like a day and a half and only took me 15 to 25 minutes to install. Now it was super easy to install the most time consuming was keeping my excited two year old out of it as I was trying to assemble it. Got the cage up and loved it. It's not the prettiest it's just a regular wire cage but it is two floors which gives the bunny plenty of room. I did also buy a plastic running mat and a runner carpet as the bottom level does not have a bottom and just sits on the floor, but with the mat it keeps my floor well protected. My only dislike is being two levels there no door on the cage on the bottom which makes putting a food bowl or litter kind of difficult, due to you have to life the whole cage up if you want to do that. Other then that this cage is great and would deffently recommend. Shipping was fast, installing was fast and super easy, and very sturdy. ... show more

  • Used this to gate my room for my rabbit
Color: Black
My rabbit already has a cage, but he needed a custom fence that he couldn’t jump over or maneuver past. I used these outside of the intended purpose but they work very well— I used them to surround my room and gate off any areas my rabbit wasn't allowed, while also being able to vary the height when I wanted (it’s high in front of my electronics stand, low in front of my bed so he can hop up if he wants to). Just note, however, you WILL run out of the gates if you use them outside of the expected purpose, so be smart with them. However, there is more than enough zip ties— maybe too many zip ties in fact. Maybe they could have distributed the zip ties better, I feel like I have too much. Anyway, they’re very versatile, if a little flimsy. Don’t make a big shelf or a tall cage out of this, it WILL fall. In fact, if you set this up as the intended cage, still be very careful, and definitely ensure there’s a solid floor covering the grid in the second floor of the cage, as well as something to sturdy the walls for when your rabbit or other little creature inevitably zooms and bounces around in it. ... show more

  • Almost so perfect!
Color: Black
I love this cage. I love the connectors, the extra cable ties for reinforcement, cost (I did buy it one sale), easy to configure almost everything was perfect! My two biggest griefs and the reason for a three star instead of five were that it doesn't come with a door. You can make on by using the cable ties/zip ties included or by doing what I will do and cutting the wire with a Dremel tool to create a door (only do this if you know what you're doing!!!). The second and main reason I gave this three stars is the quality control. I ordered two sets of these and about of the seventy-two panels I received, one was defective in the fact that a wire was left too long on it and could cause serious damage if it came in contact with an animal or person. The burr was very sharp and came out a few mm from the edge of the panel. I have an included picture of this. As always with any animal, please check your equipment and make sure everything is SAFE before you use it. With it being one panel I didn't mind too much but if someone is putting this together and they don't check everything first, it could be costly in vet bills. Overall, I would recommend but with slight caution due to the defect. ... show more

Color: Black
For starters, this cage is HUGE. I was not expecting it to be as big as it was, so i took a couple panels off and used the bottom section for storage. My piggies (2 adult females) loved the cage, weve had it up a little over a week now and we havent had any issues. It doesn't come with bottom plates though, so make sure you get some if you plan on purchasing this. Its very versatile, you can make any shapes that fit your rooms and needs.
