We get more compliments on this trash can than anything else we own. I guess the idea of a white trash can is novel. Especially a two-sided one. This thing is sturdy and looks fantastic. We have it in a mid-century modern kitchen and it's really beautiful. It doesnt look like a trash can. It looks like some futuristic device where you put waste and it molecularly transfers it somewhere else and a female computer voice says, "Waste is eliminated. Have a nice day?" Works great and looks great. Two gripes: The internal handles on each plastic, removeable receptacle look great and seem useful, but they just get in the way of the bag. Second, the top lid doesnt always close on it's own and requires a frequent push to make snug. Very happy with this. Not cheap but pretty nice. Goes with any decor.

The first one I received had a broken tab on one of the internal cans, Songmics processed a return and prompt replacement through Prime, so great service! The dual internal 8 gallon cans are perfect for my kitchen. They are skinny and tall, and the small supplied roll of custom fit bags fit nicely, but I'll likely start using standard 13 gallon bags in the future once those run out. The option to keep the lid open is great for when you're cooking. The step-to-open function works well. I originally looked at automatic sensor opening trash cans, but decided I didn't want to deal with changing batteries, etc. Overall, a great purchase!

This garbage can is great ! It’s sleek, and nice all around . I don’t have issues with pressing down on the foot pedal (it’s recommended to step on it gently) and it closes down soft and easy. I liked the size of this trash can, the few issues i have are the can handles are useless when you have bags on, the door will not seal all the way eventually and it should have stickers or a way to identify recicle from trash. Otherwise is nice
