As a guinea pig owner this product have given my pets more space to roam around in our apartment. They constantly chase each other around and sometimes run into the little walls, but the structure itself has not fallen. We did not build the second floor because the ramp is actually a thin metal slotted grate, and it would be bad for their little feet. Set up is definitely a two person job. It’s not hard to do. It just takes a long time and would move faster if there are two people working on it, but my bunny is a jump master and I was hoping if I got a taller cage, she wouldn’t be able to jump out of it. I was wrong.

I bought two sets of these to make up a 5x6ft space with a little extra cutout. I do have quite a few extra panels in case they ever need replaced do to chewing. they work great to keep my rabbit in, allowing him plenty of space to run and hop. I wrapped a pee pad around the grate ramp to give him better traction. I didn’t see the need in the zip ties as I put all the pieces together very securely. however, after nearly 2 months of use, some of the panels are starting to shift apart, specifically at the top of the ramp and his heavy use areas. I had to add the zip ties to those panels to keep them together and all has been well since ... show more

It is a DIY~ Took quite a while to put it together, but it is really great. I ended up taking down the second story due to my guinea pigs not wanting to go up but everything else about it. I love with one exception that it isn’t very sturdy. It does have to be either on the floor, or some other sort of sturdy table it’s quite large that I have had pigs for three decades and do the fact that I have the room for this it is spectacular ... show more

Easy to assemble once you glance over all the pieces. The hardest part is deciding the layout followed by making sure you get the plastic pieces pushed into the black clip holders all the way. At first really easy however when the structure starts getting bigger you rely on the plastic hammer more. I decided to start out with simple open area. Once the kittens got to 6 weeks and now able to use legs then changed design. The initial put together can seem tedious. However once those clips have been used it is faster and easier to unclip and alter the design and reclip them back into place. Kittens cannot jump it or break it. Holds up great. I would recommend this for animals. Now that kittens starting to jump and want to climb I also ordered another brank that has metal to extend the walls for airflow. I should not have done that since those panels were alot smaller so I had to angle design so they would snap together and use the zip ties. Pics show progress to date with my layout. Will end up changing it again here shortly but in all I like it. ... show more

    • Not safe for Rabbits
I bought this to create a barrier to separate Mt rabbits with. They chewed through one of the panels in a matter of hours and it ended in a fatality. Please do not use to separate rabbits.
