This thing is great!
Style: Sole E98 Elliptical
We got the E98. It arrived on its side (mistakenly, tho thankfully nothing was crushed) on a pallet and needed to go up a few steps up into the house, then downstairs. All the loose pieces and the few boxes were light, the flywheel not so much. The packing slip said it was a total of 315 pounds and I would swear the flywheel was 50 of it alone. The legs are attached to the flywheel, so strapping it all to the dolly in such a way that it didn't shift too much was a mental exercise by itself. My brilliant hubby figured that all out and manhandled it up and down the stairs by sheer force of will (and some Motrin). The assembly instructions are... interesting.. at best. None of the plastic cover pieces have part numbers on them that match the assembly diagrams, I felt like I should have earned an honorary mechanical engineering degree when I was done heheh.. BUT it really wasn't that difficult, just had to focus and read through each section completely before starting, because some places say "do this first" as the last line of the section. Also, the assembly itself is the first workout because I didn't give myself enough space on the one side. So that's it for the smart ass comments tho, because the rest is perfect!! It's easy-ish to move (if heavy), ridiculously stable while using it, and offers a lot of options for workout time (starting at 10 minutes), type and intensity. The incline offers 20 positions controlled by the rear of the machine. Movement is smoooooooth, whether you're going fast or slow. The control panel is adjustable in angle to match your height and includes a fan. There's a lip to hold your book or tablet over the display, and also another for your phone or tablet above the display. Hubby is 6 foot 350ish and the machine is just as stable for him as for my size (5'7", none of your biz-ish). I have always loved an elliptical workout for cardio and effort, and with my hip replacement I wanted a way of strengthening my joint that would also be great for the long term. We also don't have a gym open outside of my work hours so needed something at home. This is perfect in all the ways! I'll update after some time with it's endurance.

Sturdy construction
Style: Sole E98 Elliptical
This machine is built to accomodate larger users without a hitch. Very smooth action and easy to use. Do not attempt self-assembly unless you have a fair degree of mechanical aptitude and the patience to work through some incomplete/erroneous instructions!

Poor make
Style: Sole E98 Elliptical
This is a rip off for this price point. It started squealing after about 3 uses. And it broke on me after about 3 months of use. If the quality of the build was better it would be a good product but for it to have this many issues this early is insane for over $2k

Terrible electronics. Solid machine.
Style: Sole E98 Elliptical
The machine is solid but the electronics are from a decade prior. So slow it seem to only monitor time for calories burned. Doesn’t matter if I’m on level 15 or level two. The workout result is the same, just based on time. They may respond different but I’ve worked out on this machine and my wife has too for 4 years, we know it better than they do. Contrustion is solid and I get a workout but either have your own monitor or buy something else if you rely on the machine to grade the quality of your workout.

Junk
Style: Sole E98 Elliptical
My sole elliptical is junk. I can't adjust the pressure require to move the pedals. Sole told me there is nothing they can do about it. I was told very bluntly that it is my problem and they are washing their hands.

Solid build quality
Style: Sole E98 Elliptical
I did not purchase this from Amazon I purchased it directly from Sole. The product is excellent and very sturdy and quiet. A little pricey and took a bit to assemble. I am fairly mechanically inclined so no issues with assembly. The longest part of the assembly was all the little plastic covers over the various joints. There is one review on here where some guy literally writes a dissertation on this produce and complains about everything from the box it came in, to a slight noise. Don't pay attention to that review, he/she has way to much time on their hands to write all of that. Sole has solid reviews across all platforms and they make a good product. I have been using it for a while now and have no complaints, and for a bigger guy like me this thing is very well made.

Stride length and footing delivers. The resistance is great. We ordered the professional assembly option he did a great job but did take some time for him to install. Product and assembly is Worth it.
