Description
There are times when you want a hefty dose of caffeine for pre-workout performance. But on other occasions, like first thing in the morning or a late afternoon pick-me-up, what you’d get from a cup of coffee is more appropriate. ON’s Essential Amino Energy offers the best of both with a formula that delivers 100mg of caffeine from natural sources per 2-scoop serving. Decrease or increase the energy level as the occasion demands. Each serving provides 5 grams of micronized amino acids.

Delicious
Flavor Name: Blue Raspberry
Size: 9.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I recently tried Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy in Blue Raspberry flavor, and I must say, it's become an essential part of my pre-workout routine. This energy powder delivers a powerful boost of energy and focus without the jitters or crash associated with some pre-workout supplements. First and foremost, the taste is fantastic. The Blue Raspberry flavor is refreshing and delicious, making it easy to drink before hitting the gym or starting a workout. It's not too sweet or artificial tasting, which I appreciate. What sets Amino Energy apart is its unique blend of ingredients. With green tea extract, BCAAs, and amino acids, it not only provides energy but also supports muscle recovery and hydration during workouts. I also appreciate that it's keto-friendly, making it suitable for a variety of dietary preferences. I find that Amino Energy gives me a sustained energy boost throughout my workouts, allowing me to push harder and achieve better results. The focus and mental clarity it provides are also a huge plus, helping me stay motivated and engaged during exercise. Overall, I highly recommend Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy to anyone looking for a clean and effective pre-workout supplement. It's a game-changer for boosting energy, enhancing performance, and supporting overall fitness goals.

Natural caffeine, 14 amino acids. Health and focus benefits. See video.
Flavor Name: Blue Raspberry
Size: 1.29 Pound (Pack of 1)
1.29 lb container with approximately 65 servings. This flavor is blue raspberry which has a mildly citric/tart flavor. The amino acid blend helps support energy and overall health while the natural blend of caffeination helps support focus and provide a nice energy lift. I found this on sale and have used other ON amino energy products finding they all mix well, have an above average flavor and do not product any digestive side effects.

Must have morning energy boost
Flavor Name: Blue Raspberry
Size: 9.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I have to have this every morning and sometimes during the afternoon. It’s a great little clean energy boost with no jitters. Great quality for the price. I started with one scoop a morning then went to 2 after about a week. I fill my shaker bottle with about 10-16 ounces of cool water (depending on how strong I want it) then add the powder and shake it up. I find it mixes better that way. When going into the office I prepare the night before and leave it in the fridge. Great energy drink with great vitamins to benefit!! Never had an issue with packaging or received a bad batch, will always but this and use as part of my routine

Great Energy Boost, But Artificial Dyes Are a Drawback
Flavor Name: Blue Raspberry
Size: 9.5 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I’ve been using Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy in Blue Raspberry for a few weeks as a pre-workout, and overall, it’s a solid product that delivers on its promises. Here’s my take after trying it consistently: Performance: This powder gives a smooth, sustained energy boost without the jitters I’ve experienced with other pre-workouts. The mix of caffeine (from green tea and green coffee extract) and amino acids helps me power through workouts and stay focused. I also appreciate the BCAAs for muscle recovery, especially after intense sessions. The 30-serving tub is convenient and lasts a decent amount of time. Taste and Mixability: The Blue Raspberry flavor is enjoyable—sweet but not overpowering. It mixes easily in water with no gritty residue, which is a big plus. I use about 16 oz of water per 3 scoops (4 scoops if I want more energy), and it dissolves perfectly. Ingredients Concern: My main hesitation is the inclusion of artificial dyes and sweeteners. While the green tea and green coffee extracts are great, I wish the ingredients were more natural overall. The bright blue color from the dyes feels unnecessary, and I’d prefer a cleaner formula, especially for a product marketed as keto-friendly. This makes me unsure if I’ll repurchase unless they offer a dye-free version. Value: The price is reasonable for 30 servings, especially compared to other pre-workouts with similar ingredients. It’s versatile enough for pre-workout, mid-day energy, or even a study boost, which adds to its value. Final Thoughts: Optimum Nutrition Amino Energy is effective and tastes great, making it a reliable choice for energy and recovery. However, the artificial dyes are a letdown for those prioritizing natural ingredients. If you don’t mind the dyes, it’s worth trying, but I’d love to see a cleaner formula in the future. Four stars for solid performance but room for improvement.
